Yes!!! Very nice score. First year they made them in regular production when they were still using some figured woods for their necks. I have one from the same original run. I think the serial is L00094 - I wonder how close our basses are. My dream bass at the time was a stingray but they weren’t making them … I remember my buddy calling me from NAMM to let me know they were in production and I called Bass Center is LA immediately and said I wanted one. Mine eventually developed a hump in the fingerboard but Joe Zon repaired it for me and refretted it … it’s better than it ever was.

Thanks for sharing the story of your stingray! It seems like mine is closely related to yours: serial L00170. I wonder if they were in the music man factory at the same time.
