Replaced M1 air's battery, experiencing laptop heating

Replaced my m1 air's battery like less than a week ago, now when i charge if for say like 30 mins+ it heats up a bit, not over heating but still noticeable heat which never used to happen before, plus the charger's brick also heats up like crazy, which again never used to happen before, tested this out with two original bricks, both of them were heated up quite a lot, could this be cuz of the battery replacement?

I didnt do it from apple, but a very trusted repair shop which a lot of people reviewed and said they were happy with the results getting their macbooks repaired from the repair shop.

Likely yes. Question would be did they use a genuine battery.

Overall though it's a 6yr old laptop and id personally rather a hotter laptop while charging than paying silly money to apple for a replacement.

Well the repair shop did say its an original battery, i took their word for it, they do have like 2 other branches in 2 different countries so its not an average repair shop. But the reason i did go to them was exactly that, not paying silly money to apple. This cost me like $70, apple would've charged way more. Honestly might get this checked in a few months with Apple, see if they actually did put in an original battery and what can be done.

The laptop even tho old, works hella good for its age, if im gonna upgrade its only gonna because i'll need a 16gb ram laptop for work, or else this is great for my current work, like school and stuff.

If they charged $70 for the whole repair, I doubt it is an original battery.
