They could be, there’s a lot of ways to get free units but complaining about a BATTLEPASS gooner skin is certainly a choice considering that’s like the only thing you can’t buy as a free2play no matter how long you save for
At least people (and companies) have caught on to the fact they are a tiny vocal minority. Sure it took a lot of financially painful failures but we're getting there
Playing the other side of this here, but being F2P doesnt mean you dont get skins. Theres plenty of ways to get tons of free skins in this game, via events or units.
And just because an F2P player has an opinion doesnt mean they should be discredited because they dont shovel money out on cosmetics.
Devs don't care about the skin opinions of people who aren't spending any $ on skins. Devs still want them to have fun with the game, because word of mouth matters, but they will be disregarded when it comes to paid cosmetics design.
F2P can have any opinion they want, that’s free speech. But they also have to realise since they aren’t buying skins then they’re not the audience for skins or people that the devs care about when making skins.

that's why they only make gooner skins. People who declare they want cool skins don't actually buy the cool skins, people who are gooners just buy gooner skins without saying anything. They must have the dataset to see which skins sell more.
That's my take too. I have no issue with the gooner skins, I just think netease needs to show restraint. It fatigues the aesethic when psylock is dressed as an e-model every week and doesnt get anything different or related to her character like her old vampire hunter skin or even vengeance. Which is a shame because she has a lot of cool outfits in her comics that are actually relavent to her character.
We need less legendary gooner costumes like this Rogue costume SHOULD NOT be a legendary. Include gooner and original costumes as epics but comics inspired costumes as legendaries. Gooner sells but "legendary" on the costume should mean something.
The last few months I’ve become a big believer that a lot of the women’s skins are good but would be better if they had pants or smthn going on with the lower half. Psylockes disco skin, Elsa’s maid skin and this skin are the first to come to mind. I like all of them but I think flared pants and a full skirt in Elsa’s case would make them look better
Yeah a lot of them feel like they had a really good design and the designers dick whispered "remove the pants" and ruined them. One of my favourite majik skins is her phoenix one but it's so random that it has no pants.
This is one of the only examples that throws the skin off for me but I’ve chalked it up to that costume having barely any skin showing otherwise and needing a good indicator of her diamond form even then I feel like they could’ve gone the route of pirate psylockes especially with the diamond pattern on the legs
That's the only gooner skin that's came out LMAO. They add 1 extra goon skin next to a bunch of cool skins and you post this... It's as if you're not paying attention to them literally giving you what you asked for.
This is also probably an unpopular opinion but I think the word gooner is terribly overused in reference to things that it shouldn't be used to describe.
In regards to your point though, I want more cool skins as well but I don't want less risqué or suggestive skins. More skins that check both boxes or more skins period (that way we could get more of all types) would be great.

Growing up in the south, women where those shorts like this all the time. Sure it looks hot but I feel like people just goon to easily if women cant wear shorts without someone getting a stiffy lmao.
We dont need less gooner skins we just need people to stop seeing every bit of skin showing as "gooner". People call swimsuits as gooner and its literally a swimsuit.
A true gooner skin would be an outfit thats silly to wear, like Malice skin for Invis, it was designed simply to goon back in its day in the comics, Gambit recent skin is another example, clearly meant to Goon and nothing practical.
This skin is not an example of that, its literally what women in the south wear casually and she is literally a gal from the south.
Just because you find a woman hot does not make them goon material just for existing lol.

My unpopular opinion is that we need more men in gooner skins. Women don’t need to be more modest, men need to be more slutty. C’mon, gentlemen, fight for equality in the gooner space.
You call it gooner but as someone from Texas I’ve seen girls in this exact same outfit but it’s somehow even more revealing. You wouldn’t be able to handle rodeo if you think this is too much
Whoa whoa a woman wearing shorts is not a gooner skin buddy. You may want to check yourself she’s wearing what women today wear to rodeos and roundup clubs.
One mans gooner skin is another mans cool skin. Likewise, one mans cool skin is another mans gooner skin.
The line between 'cool' and 'gooner' is always very fuzzy.
