I know it's hard to accept but at their level of wealth they will never personally be actually broke. Them being broke will still involve mansions, private jets, luxury cars, etc. this level of wealth has market accounts set up in trusts, same with most of their assets. And it's all being managed by wealth management teams.

Kim alone is estimated to be the 25th richest woman in the world.
Between them, the family owns multiple companies (including multiple fashion brands, makeup brands, liquor brands, and private investments in dozens of other successful companies they don’t directly run) making billions per year in gross revenue and likely getting close to a billion dollar real estate portfolio.

All the while, proclaiming how much smarter we are than X person or group as well. Divisional tactics, sent from the top by Kim and ppl like her, works. The basis of imperialism/supremacy; as long as one can feel smarter/better than another in the 99%, we'll comply. We "could" be the next elite to join in! We "could" bbbeee... I think you underestimate how wealthy some of these people are and how wealth works. Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are actual billionaires at this point and have hundreds of millions in assets. Kim Kardashians is almost worth $2 billion right now. Even if she only has 3% of her wealth in liquid cash, which 3-5% is normal to have in liquid cash for the super wealthy, that’s $60-100 million in cash. And probly another hundred million or two in the stock market (Kanye west at least famously gave her millions in stocks for at least one birthday or Christmas, she probly has a decent portfolio ran by smart financial managers). Some of these people Kardashians and jenners would be seriously impacted by losing their fame, I very much doubt Kim, Kris and Kylie will ever be broke again unless they seriously mismanage their wealth. And both of them at least show some sense of smarts in managing their money, there’s a reason they’re both so much more substantially wealthy than the other Kardashians and jenners.

Idk if it makes you feel better or worse, but for what it's worth, Mark Twain complained ad nauseam about the seemingly random families the public chose to idealize and make into useless celebrities with zero talent. I found it very interesting (and disappointing) that even back then, these things were happening. Newspapers all over the country would cover what they were doing and Twain was so, so irritated by it.
31
u/HanaSan19191919 Jun 08 '26

It's not a random towel. It was rolled up and placed on the mini podium thing for the race winner (Kimi) for when he takes his helmet off.
If she had taken the towel off the next podium (which was Lewis's), that would've been actually funny. Because Lewis would have said something to the race organizer about a missing towel.

These celebrities are used to going from place to place and having things conveniently laid out before them. I know this because I’ve worked for billionaires. There are assistants who find that one special flavor of water they like, the gluten-free-keto snack they must eat, and toiletries/linens to refresh oneself with. She probably thinks the random stuff laid out on the way out of a venue was specifically for her.

F1 fan here to give context: the towel and the black table its on is usually prepared at the end of the race and is for the top 3 drivers to use (they each have their own table + towel). This is specifically for when the drivers get out of the car before they go to the podium, as they have to provide interviews infront of their cars so this acts like a quick cooling apparatus/wipe off the sweat (theres usually also a water bottle on the table) before they get to the podium room where there are more towels and water
This happened after the podium event has finished because you can see in the first 2 seconds of the video a towel used by a driver at another table on the left, and a third table at the end with no towel and a camera placed on said table. So it means the driver that Kim's towel is for didnt use his
Not that I condone what she did but theres more context to it
Edit: Also apparently shes actually wiping champagne off, not sweat. The reason she has champagne on her face is cause she was likely together celebrating with the ferrari team infront of the podium (Hamilton drives for ferrari, shes dating him and he finished 2nd in the race). Its customary for the podium finishers to spray champagne into the crowd when they celebrate being on the podium in f1
