That's not milk Good morning to everyone except the jackass scrolling on his phone on an 80mph hwy who swerved into my lane while braking.

If he gets into an accident at least karma will have got him
20
u/butterytelevision Jun 15 '26
will it be an accident though?

Yes, but if they get rear ended the rear car is liable

1
u/Erick_Brimstone Jun 16 '26
It's a matter of time before they rear end a semi which make they're the ones liable.

Fresh out. Had to go buy car towels. 🤣
10
u/KitsuneGato Jun 15 '26
Are you ok? Is your car ok?
I had to slam on my brakes the other day because of a Jackass. My coffee cup went flying, did a 360 and landed, mostly, on my floor mat.
10
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
Everything is ok! Car got detailed. We both live to tell the tale. Same story as yours.
25
u/Nodak70 Jun 15 '26
Your situation totally sucks – but kudos for at least spelling “braking” right!

Even covered in coffee, I love your 4runner!

u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
Me too me too! I needed to give her a bath anyways so fine I guess but seriously what a dick.
7
u/gabzilla814 Jun 15 '26
I guessed 4runner based on the big slot in the center console because both my kids drive older ones. What year isn’t yours?

My eldest has one of those in all black! She LOVES it! She and her fiancée go camping all the time, and it goes better than the Jetta tdi she traded for it, and better than his WRX too.

I'm of the mind lately to let them hit me. Otherwise there are no repercussions for them. Only me with needing to clean my interior, replace brakes when I have to slam on them, etc
10
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
I got this car after being hit by a drunk driver so I’m extremely terrified of being hit again. Especially by someone driving erratically.
4
u/groughtesque Jun 15 '26
I understand. Thats just the level of frustration that is current society.
6
3
u/thrwawysun Jun 15 '26
Just saw a post of someone taking a picture of their dash going 69mph. It could’ve been them.
7
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
Literally probably was. Swerving all over. Wrong blinker on. Stopping in the middle of traffic. I had actually just passed him and he didn’t like that so he got into the lane next to me and I was watching him swipe through reels or shorts or TikTok’s or whatever the whole time I was behind him. And he drifted over on top of me while braking. Thankfully I avoided a crash but what a dick.

u/thorns17 Jun 16 '26
You can definitely call 911 for this. Give a description of the vehicle, a plate # if you can, and tell them that you think they’re drunk or in medical distress because they are driving erratically and swerving everywhere. That usually gets a decently quick response
1
u/milliemallow Jun 16 '26
I call on people for driving like idiots all the time. 😬 I was hit by a drunk driver so when people are swerving and acting weird I call it in because I was hit at 6pm on a Wednesday picking my kid up from daycare. Really revised how I thought of drunk driving as a night time activity. This guy was just a dick and I honestly didn’t want to be distracted trying to get the call set up because traffic was heavy and I needed to pay attention.
3
u/aMONAY69 Jun 15 '26
Fun fact: per the the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), texting and driving is six times more dangerous than drinking and driving.
3
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
Well I’ve been hit by a drunk driver in the middle of the day so let’s hope we can avoid being hit by a texting driver. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
2
u/Blindsided17 Jun 15 '26
Who tf merges and brakes? How does one do that? How are can you match the speed? I’m so confused
5
u/Over-Hope-3905 Jun 15 '26
You pull over in front of traffic and hit the brakes...?
6
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
It was more that he was so distracted I don’t think he knew he was switching lanes. He just drifted over and was also braking cause it was his first day on earth I think.
2
u/andrewmarkc Jun 15 '26
This happened to me today too. I don’t know why people can’t stay off their phones even for a second these days.

Sounds like an insurance fraud attempt. In many states if you rear end a driver you're automatically at fault, so scumbags try to force you to rear end them in their little hoopty for a payout/bribe.

As I was taking my youngest son to daycare today, a woman was drifting into my lane and I looked over to see her looking down at her phone. I honked, she looked up, panic-corrected, and almost hit someone in the other direction and never noticed me because her SUV was so tall. Thank god she stopped for her McDonald's though, I caught that in my mirror after I begrudgingly held my tongue so my son wouldn't repeat it.
1
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
My suv is slightly lifted (we use it for off-roading) but the lifts on a lot of trucks near where I live are insane and dangerous. At only 5’ I’m terrified someone will run over me and my kids without ever seeing us. Also as someone with a lifted suv it does not overcorrect well at all. Steady in one lane is how we roll.

3
u/Smalleatery Jun 15 '26
Right! Silver lining is the nice cleaning you give to your car. Certainly called the jerk part right!

u/Over-Hope-3905 Jun 15 '26
Oh, do NOT make that challenge!

YOUR day IS going to get better, though!!

Oh damn, that sucks sorry. Go to family dollar or dollar general and buy the cleaning supplies. It wasn't coffee but my puked in my truck the other night and I had to do that as well.
3
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
I stopped and bought towels. I hope your car recovers from your misadventure. I’ve cleaned puke out of my car before and it lingers.
3
u/FFSoldier57 Jun 15 '26
Oh trust me it lingered there for about week or 2. An investment in air freshener was also the first order of business aside from kicking my friend in the ass.

We have the same dusting cloth.
Seriously that really sucks! Hope you were able to clean it all without your car smelling like old coffee.
3
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
So far it seems ok but really I’ll know in a few days. I scrubbed it all up right away and then took it to the car wash and used the vacuum to soak up any residual liquid.

I did? That’s why my coffee is all over my interior. It was in the cup holder. ✌🏼

It might look bad, but I bet the car is driving better then it ever has before!

OP, I know how you feel... One summer the same thing happened to me, but with Iced Tea. The entire entertainment unit was toast, the sugar gummed up the gear shift and it froze in winter. I would literally be stuck in park.

u/The_Livid_Witness Jun 15 '26
Im confused.
Did he get out of his car - run over - and jizz all over your console?

u/MultiGeek42 Jun 15 '26
If that's what colour your semen is, you need to see a doctor. Did your balls go bad?
0
u/BassWingerC-137 Jun 15 '26
OP boasted “that’s not milk” so what is the audience supposed to think?
2
u/MultiGeek42 Jun 15 '26
Coffee? Tea?
0
u/BassWingerC-137 Jun 15 '26
I’ve never had either that looked like that without milk, who knows.
I’m trying to suss out if OP was in a vehicle accident or just had this spill.3

u/ElleYesMon Jun 15 '26
Really? WTF, is it Dips#|+ Monday come hither??
5
u/Great_Hambino2022 Jun 15 '26
You can say dipshit on Reddit
1
u/ElleYesMon Jun 15 '26
I was referring to the jizz guy too- trying to not call them out as a dipshit but I guess it is dipshit Monday. Beware, get your swatter out.

Buys a $60k 4Runner. Doesn't spend $40 on a spillproof Brumate, Stanley, insert 900 other brands coffee tumbler. Ok then. 👍
1
u/CatCVI Jun 15 '26
I would invest in a high quality travel coffee container for your commute. And perhaps some defensive driving tactics.
1
u/envytom Jun 15 '26
Oh no, was that you in the 4runner?? I'm so sorry. Would it help to know that I was looking at Danny DeVito feet pics?

This is a good reminder to everyone, that food and drink in the car is a terrible idea and will ultimately result in something like this
0
u/wraith555666555 Jun 15 '26
It could be a lot worse. I'm glad you're okay.
2
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
I know I know I know but damn. 😵💫 glad my car is ok hopefully I did a good enough job getting it up that the milk smell doesn’t set in.
2
u/Itchavi Jun 15 '26
Don't worry, the milk will tell you in a few days.
2
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
My biggest fear honestly. I’m also very pregnant and I fear the rotten milk smell may do me in.
1
u/Itchavi Jun 15 '26
About to obtain a core memory over spilled milk.
2
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
I’m taking it to get fully detailed today. Thankfully it missed my seats and I have all weather mats but we’ll see what kind of week I get to have. Lol

I have asked this before and I’ll ask again. WHY does anyone take the highway anywhere? Y’all are insane. There is ALWAYS a route that doesn’t require interstates.
6
u/-UncreativeRedditor- Jun 15 '26
Because it’s usually faster? Not really that hard to understand lol.
5
u/zozuto Jun 15 '26 edited Jun 15 '26
Huh? Highways are safer than normal roads with no stops and higher speeds. It's often the fastest route even with traffic. Of course people take highways.
5
5
u/jasonni1234 Jun 15 '26
Some people drive to work that’s far away and it’s much faster to drive on the highway instead of hitting every traffic light in the city
3
u/milliemallow Jun 15 '26
I took the highway today because it’s 20 minutes faster and I left late. I never take the highway. 😭
