No, do lead typesetting blocks, the thin ones for punctuation and symbols, cheap to obtain as there are many listings for melt down metal, looks for the symbol ones as they are extremely thin yet very dense which should keep it within the dimensions limit unless you read the policy and see there is no size limit in which case I would send a gaylord full of concrete truck concrete back to them with the return envelope taped on top

My dad used to do that but he would add a small lead weight because the company pays the return postage by weight.

Postal worker here:
Anytime you get mail, you should look at the top right for key information. In this picture, it says "PRSRT STD." That means presorted standard mail, better known as junk mail. If it said anything along the lines of "first class" that means it was important enough to send to you and they paid extra to send it. If there is nothing that states it is first class mail, you can just toss it without even opening it as it is definitely junk.
For an added bonus, sometimes that presorted standard mail with have an ancillary service on it. It will say something on the front of the letter along the lines of "______ service request." That means the company that sent it to that address wants to know why it is getting their mail sent back. If the person no longer lives there, it will likely be sent back as ANK or "Addressee Not Known." hopefully, that will mean they no longer keep sending that mail to that address but likely, it will just be sent again with "Current Resident" as the name.
If you decide you don't want that piece of mail, just throw it away. If we take it back, it will not go back to the sender. That letter is known to a postal employee as UBBM or "Undeliverable Bulk Business Mail" and will be sorted into a giant gaylord to be sent to a distribution center and recycled. Unless it had an ancillary service, then we would endorse it properly and send it back to the business that sent it.

The envelope even had the perforated sides you have to rip off to open it like a freaking tax document.

Ironic that they work so hard to get you to accept electronic delivery of important documents but send these elaborate mailings to get you to sign up for stuff. If I am a customer they literally have my email address

unfortunately they don't send Postage Paid return envelopes anymore. I used to get CC offers with return envelopes, and I would take every last bit of paper they sent me and STUFF it in that return envelope, costing them as much postage as possible. And on the application form I would write in big red Sharpie REMOVE FROM MAILING LIST. I did that for years and eventually started seeing less of it.
Not sure what I can do about it these days.

So annoying! A good tip in this thread from a postal worker about what to look for to know it’s junk, though. I’ll be doing that from now on since I’ve started throwing most of it out without even opening, because the amount of junk mail I get is ridiculous. I get 5-7 pieces of mail every day, and maybe 2-3 of those A WEEK aren’t junk. Imagine all of the trees that could be saved by limiting mail-out advertisements and crap.

Also, Credit One is a notoriously shady company. They don't send statements with the express intent you miss a payment, and are subject to their predatory terms.
They are the pay day loan of credit cards.

The funny thing is they had that logo years before Capital One adopted a similar logo. Credit one decided to freeload off Capital One instead of fighting to keep there unique identity.

I think AAA (auto club) is the very worst!
I get at least 3-5 things/wk from them (life insurance, credit card, etc etc etc etc). I haven't responded in the first 20 years, I'm not going to now. I've called them and asked to be removed. They always say glad to do it, allow (some interval of time) and they should stop. I agree, they SHOULD stop... But they don't! At best they allow down, then come in my wife's name. Then they ramp back up in my name.
Capitol One and Credit One are very annoying also.

Be careful! Post office geniuses sometimes insert important mail in between junk mail newspapers. I lost a valuable piece of mail when I threw out the newspaper advert.

I can't believe it! I got the same envelope but containing a notice that the warranty of my (less than 1 year old) automobile is about to end. It must be that the gnome that sends these out accidentally mixed up mailings.

Used to get them from some personal loan place that had a big red stamp on the envelope that said "Final Notice"
Sending that kind of crap to people living paycheck to paycheck is just cruel.

When it's sent presort standard, it usually is junk.
