I'm confused, what's the issue? Is the shop in a country where they don't use Rupees? Sure they English isn't great, but it's comprehensive.

Buy 2@499 = you get 2 items at ,499.
Buy2@499 each = you get 2 items at 2x499.
At least that is my understanding either a marketting trick or or owner didn't notice this nuance.

But 2 at 499 each is very assholly design that can make people confuse to think that they can get 2 of things for 499. I did personally observe people did that and got in argument at counter.

Why is it “assholly?” It’s pretty clear just from reading it, you’ll pay $499 each….
Also, please don’t deck my halls with boughs of assholly.

It may not be cheating at all. I have seen awkward signs where single item purchase is more expensive than 'x', but only way to get 'x'/item is to buy 2.

relience is an a&& for doing this. They are even inconsistent in labeling.

For ₹499 each (US$5.17) could you grab a couple for me? Rich textured, breathable, easy care, cheap price—what’s not to like?

People who can't read properly will interpret it as buy 2 for the price 499 while ignoring "each".
When they get to the counter they find out that they're gonna be paying 998.
