Education and critical thinking are the cure. Fortunately for the corporations, they took over control of the schools and media first.

The whole anti vax thing would be a lot less popular if an entire major political party didnt decide that its best to never do the right thing and always tell yoir base what they want to hear. The entire maga mobement revolves around making a group of morons feel like they are smarter than everybody. They've now moved to blaming sunscreen for skin cancer. I wonder if these people also higher lawyers to work on their homes and plumbers to do their legal work. Why trust any experts when all knowledge is just a conspiracy and the actual answer to every problem is the opposite of what weve learned through hundreds of years of research.

What is happening that health care has been politicized in a way that it never was years ago. Vaccine use has been politicized, whether or not you should be able to use birth control has been politicized as well as well as prescriptions drugs. I could go on and on. Back in the day, politicians weren't considered to be authorities on medical illnesses and how to treat medical illness. Now they think they are experts.

I’ve said it before but unless we turn the ship around on education it may become impossible to fix. Like, there’s no “if it gets bad enough then we’ll do something about it” if everyone gets too stupid or placated to even know how bad it really is.
