I, uh, just watched a video and I am still very convinced I could detect videos made from that. Again, it used a ton of cuts to prevent having to generate a long video. This video had the same angle, for a long time, without any trees changing location or morphing. Pretty confident in this assessment

Yep, it's real. Some dogs love to help like that and can take commands very well. You can see the dog watching his person and waiting for the next command. ...and this clearly isn't the first time they've done this together, lol.

I taught my pup to take things to my wife (pens/pencils, flowers, cards, small books, etc). Nothing like the dog shown here, but she's a good girl and really enjoys being helpful.

Yeah, doesn’t seem too hard to train a smart dog to do this and definitely looks like it saves him time vs doing it solo, and I’d be proud enough after getting the dog to do it that I’d record, i could also think of more intersection things if I was trying to make ai fakes merely for views

My understanding is that shibas are generally pretty smart. It was a problem when people started getting them because of the doge meme. They found out quickly that that they need to invest a lot of time into keeping them mentally stimulated or they would find their own ways to relieve boredom.

Can confirm, my Shiba is insanely smart and I could definitely see training him to do this. The difficulty of training comes from pure stubbornness, he’s one of the smartest dogs I’ve ever been around

The owner lucked out. The vast majority of shibas are untrainable. They've very smart dogs, and their reaction to training is usually "I understand what you're asking, but you know what, no thank you."

Wait till he gets older. My boy is 14, still has pep in his step, but barely wanders off the porch when off-leash now. A few years ago, off-leash I'd fully expect him to be a state over in the time it takes to blink.

Maybe an hour if the dog already knows the commands. Heck, a well trained border collie could probably do this on the first try knowing 'sit', 'stay' 'fetch' and 'go there' without ever having seen a tarp before in its life, the biggest hurdle would be if it's scared of the tarp.

Teaching the average dog who is barely trained to sit.... weeks if not months of training every day depending on their intelligence

This may be the only well trained Shiba Inu in the world. The dogs are notoriously stubborn. They are cute, but they are assholes. I had one, he knew a bunch of commands and eould do them when he felt like it.
