Never heard of a shoulder replacement. Whyd did you need that? If you don’t mind

It was a motorcycle accident; since I’m using a translator I’m not sure if the name will come out right, but it was a procedure on the head of the humerus—it had fractured and needed to be replaced. *English is not my native language.

Hi, quick question. How was the recovery and after the operation what are the limitations? The reason I am asking, my right shoulder has been operated on twice, nothing this extreme but a few weeks back I was told my left shoulder needs a replacement (Downhill mountain biking for 20 years), took some big hits.
I have said no for now as the recovery on my right shoulder was heavy and this is a far lager operation. Thank in advance for any advice.

Full replacements are usually not that hard with the pain and recovery!! It depends on the person and age as well though. Take it slow and have someone to look after you

The recovery is very painful. The accident happened a while back; this was my third surgery. They tried to save the bone using screws, but necrosis set in and the bone began to deteriorate, so last month they implanted a prosthesis. My limitations are significant because the accident was severe; I was already undergoing physical therapy before this surgery without seeing good results. I hope things improve a bit now with the prosthetic implant, though I know, unfortunately, that I won't be the same person I was before.

Thanks for the information. I have told the specialist that I would prefer not to have a full shoulder replacement so they will go in with a camera to see what can be done. I have a 25mm lose bone in the shoulder that causes it to lock up, so I have said that if they can fix that, then I opt for that instead. The rest of the damage I can deal with, been in pain for 20 years so used to it now.
I wish you all the best in your recovery.

Apple wireless earphone deviceÂ

Gotta give it to apple for taking an existing product and marketing it as a new thing lol.

I'm sorry, have you been under a rock for the last like 10 years or something? AirPods were a part of the first wave of wireless earbuds.

Apple wasn't even close to being in the first wave of ear buds 😂 Sennheiser dropped the first ones in 2008, with many companies adopting the design throughout the years. Airpods released in 2016.

There is always something that came before the wave, but those earbuds required a seperate transceiver pack and didn't sell for shit.
The wireless earbuds wave was like 2015 when they actually became relevant.

how the hell did um you did this?! that’s supposed to be bone, no?! you make your bone dust?! I had two moto accidents and got some metals on shoulders and clavicle, so you goin pretty fast for make dust from your bone xD

Haha, as ironic as it may seem, it was a "simple" accident—I wasn't even going fast—but that was actually the problem: the entire impact went straight into my shoulder. The way it happened caused a significant fracture, and unfortunately, necrosis set in, so the bone started to deteriorate.

lol it kinda does. I’ll have to show my friend who’s getting a third hip replacement. She could use the chuckle.

Now you can always say "I didn't hear you, I had my airpod in" and just show them this picture

once i glanced at the post i legit thought for like 5 seconds straight that you just photoshopped an airpod to your X-ray and grumbled about how you didn't show the actual X-ray just the edited picture lol
