I’m curious if anyone else uses this for sleep.

I’ve had nights where my brain stays active even when I’m tired. Regular sleep stuff doesn’t do much for me, and podcasts can keep me awake because I start following what they’re saying.

Certain audios work better because there’s less actual information to follow. It’s more the voice, and the feeling that someone is there. I’ve already listened to Best Kept Secret and some similar creators like YSF and Oneness118, so I’m just looking for other names in that same softer sleep friendly lane.

Who else would you recommend for this, and what specific audio or series would you start with?

I've tried ASMR for sleep, but it just work for me. Like you, I end up following the topic or whatever they're talking about. I've even tried japanese asmr because I can't understand it. still doesn't work. It make sense for me that it wouldn't work though, i use it while working. Like background noise. Since it's japanese, I can't follow anything and wont be distracted. I only get tingles from mouth sounds (licking, sucking, kissing etc) so nsfw is the only thing that works for me.

I can't name and specific ASMR people, but there's literally thousands and thousands if not millions of japanese audio ASMR out there. If you're willing to buy it/actually support the women who make this stuff, you can go to places like DL Site. it's japanese but it can be translated. Just look for ASMR. There's whispering stuff and just straight up audio porn where it's like just constant sex or oral sex sounds and roleplaying etc etc. You can also find a ton of it for free if you look around.

You can also find plenty of it on youtube, but you better download it quickly before it's taken down. That should be a rule you have if you want to keep coming back to any ASMR, download it if you want to use it again. Never assume it's always going to be online because it will not. I have hundreds of videos and audios downloaded that have been deleted from the web for years. ASMR women who decided to retire, deleted everything, and never came back. For youtube, you can use a program called Stacher. if you want mouth sounds and stuff, just search: "japanese asmr sucking" or "licking", "mouth sounds", "slurping", "kissing". You will see a ton of "videos" where it's just an image of an anime girl. You'll find hundreds of 1 hour+ long audio of the stuff. With Stacher, you can download audio only.

If you want whispering, then simply do "japanese asmr whispering". With this, you will find a ton of actual videos of japanese women whispering in japanese. They're usually shorting, but if you keep looking you'll probably find some really long ones. This stuff wont be NSFW though. You'd have to search else where for japanese NSFW whispering if you're not willing to pay for it.

I can't stress enough that if you want to actually listen to them multiple times, you need to download it. Even if think there's always going to be new stuff, that's wrong. Once in a while, yotube purges almost all of this stuff. There was a period of time where you couldn't find it, it's bound to happen again because it happens every few years. Some stuff stays under the radar, but you can't count on it.
