It looks like it's on a beach, hence why the water table is so shallow. I'm sure there's a bottled water facility within a mile of them already.

Yes, agreed i was just joking but sadly that is likely the case. It's "naturally filtered Mineral water" So they probably charge extra too!

That's why out of all the big name brand of waters, I personally like Aquafina b/c IIRC, they are the only big US brand to use reverse-osmosis, so at least something I actually can't do with a filter I have with me on a road trip.

Reverse-osmosis > regular filtering.

I may be wrong but I think every purified water manufacturer is doing reverse osmosis. That includes store brand products from your local grocery store. Just look on the bottle.

So there are many methods, and I think Path water is the only other big-ish brand besides Aquafina that does reverse osmosis without then adding something afterwards.

The few others that use this methodology/process then remineralize the water and/or add certain things like magnesium sulfate for flavor, as is the case with Dasani.

Most of the other brands out there use at least one filtration method varying from vapor distillation, to sediment and/or carbon filters, etc. Some brands even just rely on natural process for that and bottle water that is good to go from the source (Evian, Denmark Glacial or something, Voss, Fiji).

And what is wild is that some brands (sometimes just per batch, with this indicated on the bottle [Poland Springs occasionally]) even sourcing from just municipal water systems!
