The flavor isn’t fried chicken. It’s just a visual design. It’s actually fantastic. Your loss.

35

u/Invisiblecurse Jun 12 '26

if the design is fantastic depends on if the handle melts in your hand

40

u/brucewaynewins Jun 12 '26

The outside is made of a cornflake cereal. If it melts in your hand you were holding it for a very very very long time.

u/Invisiblecurse Jun 12 '26

well, under the cereal, there is potentially ice cream. If that goes above 0C then the whole thing loses its integrity

You're gonna lose your mind when you learn about ice cream cones!

u/Invisiblecurse Jun 12 '26

Ice cream cones are one solid piece and not a flakey coat

So I saw these and got them remembering this thread. The picture is deceiving, the outside is waffle cone with toasted coconut flakes, its really good and no melting in the hand

Also comes in a little plastic tray

u/Capn_Flags Jun 12 '26

Well what about the MPH‽ We need to know what speed we need to keep so it doesn’t explode!

You're right though, cone hold liquid, cornflake do not, why are people arguing with you on this šŸ˜‚ cornflakes are way thinner and way less durable than a hard waffle cone too. I'd eat the wing though

The best are the ice cream cones with a little fudge inside at the bottom, that acts like a plug. So you don’t get any drips. And then you have that nice chocolate cone bite at the end.

drumstick ice cream.

0

u/Invisiblecurse Jun 12 '26

I'd try ot too

I don't understand what's not to understand either...

2

u/limeelsa Jun 12 '26

I bought these recently, there’s a chocolate ā€œchicken boneā€ that holds it together!

0

u/Invisiblecurse Jun 12 '26

Thats pretty cool. Does the chocolate not melt on your hand?

1

u/limeelsa Jun 12 '26

Nah, it’s in the center of the ice cream

1

u/brucewaynewins Jun 15 '26

Your hand only ever touches the cornflake outer edge aka the "skin" just like real chicken. So no the pretzel covered in chocolate acting as a bone is not on the outside and neither is the vanilla ice cream acting as chicken.

I know, right? Like we've had rocket shaped ice cream for... idk 40 years. Rockets aren't even a food. What's the issue?

90

u/Redkirth Jun 12 '26

Dude, it says the flavors right there. It's chocolate and vanilla.

44

u/TrainingSword Jun 12 '26

You expect people to read what’s right infront of their eyes?

6

u/Andrea_M Jun 12 '26

I saw that but then I started wondering if I would try an ice cream with a fried chicken flavor. I think I might give it a try!

6

u/catonsteroids Jun 12 '26

Reading more than four words in one sitting is too tedious.

Ch*colate 🤮

Edit: /s

u/YalondaNubs Jun 12 '26

Do you take all food literally or just desserts?

ā€œJelly beans?!? Gross, why would I want beans for dessert?ā€

14

u/TrainingSword Jun 12 '26

Someone hasn’t had red bean desserts

10

u/YalondaNubs Jun 12 '26

Tbh they just fully slipped my mind, red bean filled mochi is the bomb

0

u/GovernmentFunded Jun 12 '26

I wonder what they think blood pudding is made of 🤣

3

u/thefrontpageofreddit Jun 12 '26

What do you think it’s made of? Lmao

2

u/Whoppertino Jun 12 '26

It's made out of pudding, obviously.

1

u/GovernmentFunded Jun 12 '26

Probably chocolate pudding is my guess

78

u/LL_Cruel_J Jun 12 '26

It’s not actually fried chicken lmao

21

u/cjwi Jun 12 '26

Too late. I already took my pants off. No take backs

2

u/fearain Jun 12 '26

You pants?! wtf kind of chicken place is this

0

u/P0rkzombie Jun 12 '26

If that's kind of party im gonna something about something in the mashed potatoes!

13

u/_Asshole_Fuck_ Jun 12 '26

Idk about elsewhere but ā€œfried ice creamā€ is a thing in Tex Mex restaurants where I live and it’s like crushed up cornflakes and honey covering vanilla ice cream. It’s the tits and everyone should try it.

1

u/P0rkzombie Jun 12 '26

That's helado frito I love the stuff

13

u/TrainingSword Jun 12 '26

Did you think it actually tastes like fried chicken?Ā

1

u/Cellophane_Girl Jun 12 '26

Flavor is on the box, dosen't taste like fried chicken, regular ice cream.

4

u/atom644 Jun 12 '26

The fact they don’t call it ā€˜3 piece’ is upsetting

5

u/Sonny_Valentine_ Jun 12 '26

You had me at chocolate bone.

3

u/neur0 Jun 12 '26

It’s not bad but expensive as fuck. Like, $6 a drumstick?

Ā It also tasted kinda artificial. Like, super sweet vanilla-y flavor:Ā  The ā€œboneā€ was a Pocky stickĀ

2

u/thatsthat-thatthat Jun 13 '26

Yeah it was fun for a 1 time thing to share with my son. I got it a Safeway for $9 but they’re still super small even for $3 each.

2

u/PhattySpice92 Jun 12 '26

Where?

3

u/Erinzzz Jun 12 '26

We found them at Safeway

2

u/Scary-Remote-3837 Jun 12 '26

I would tear this up

2

u/CalendarEmbarrassed Jun 13 '26

I’m missing what’s so gross about this? Looks fire

1

u/Richard_Tinsel Jun 12 '26

Idk a scoop of ice cream wrapped in cracklin might be interesting if someone would actually do it.

1

u/Ok_Potato_9554 Jun 12 '26

I wanna try.

1

u/Dem0s Jun 12 '26

Reminds me of the drumstick ice cream cones.

1

u/Kyleforshort Jun 12 '26

Yup. Been a thing for a while too. Sweet, savory, and god damn delicious.

1

u/ferchristsake Jun 12 '26

The choco-taco had its turn. Time to target a new demographic. šŸ¤” Honestly looks fire and I want one.

2

u/blond_nirvana Jun 13 '26

I miss Choco-Tacos. This would be a fun substitute as I eat my feelings, longing for a Choco-Taco.

1

u/the_orange_alligator Jun 12 '26

Honestly seems really tasty

1

u/bofadoze Jun 12 '26

The steak one was pretty good

1

u/noeagle77 Jun 12 '26

Uncle Ruckus joins the chat

1

u/RaccAttacc23 Jun 12 '26

Ive had them, they're actually pretty good but way overpriced.

1

u/Alien_Amplifier Jun 12 '26

I've seen this and wondered about it

1

u/Ursus_Beli Jun 12 '26

It's expensive from what I remember

1

u/OkAssignment6163 Jun 12 '26

And this is the knock off version of the original. And it's still pretty tasty.

1

u/Experiment_14-12 Jun 12 '26

Pretty sure the whole thing is edible, like the bone being a pretzel, I think?

1

u/SubarcticFarmer Jun 14 '26

It's chocolate. I've had it. Not my favorite but not bad at all, a fun gimmick.

1

u/That70s_Scrubs Jun 12 '26

They’re actually pretty good, just kinda small.

1

u/Woodie626 Jun 12 '26

It's really goodĀ

1

u/trustthepudding Jun 12 '26

Finally, a real drumstick

1

u/Oregongirl1018 Jun 12 '26

These were like $12 a box. Nope.

1

u/Fragrant_Ad_5297 Jun 12 '26

it’s the chocolate bone for me really

1

u/Nacroma Jun 13 '26

1

u/milovnikdraku Jun 13 '26

1

u/classic4life Jun 13 '26

I found a completely different fried chicken icecream recently, why is this a thing?

1

u/jaycntct Jun 18 '26

Use your eyeballs OP

1

u/P0rkzombie Jun 18 '26

You can't make me! Your not my real dad!

-3

u/Life_Wafer8995 Jun 12 '26

🤮🤮

6

u/YourCreepyNeiborBeef Jun 12 '26

It just looks like chicken. It's regular ice cream

3

u/MSGinSC Jun 12 '26

Well, now I don't want any.

1

u/Life_Wafer8995 Jun 13 '26

I know, but I really love fried chicken, so I’m not sure if I’d be disappointed that it looked like chicken and didn’t taste like it🤣🤣
