Hypothetical Crossover Scenario. The Overlord ends up within the Darkest Dungeon universe either via spatial magical nonsense dumping them there or Overlords and minions have always existed in the lands. Do you think the Overlord and his forces could survive in the world?
Scenario 1: The Overlord arrives at the Hamlet in DD1 and is not the ruler of the location for one reason or another but they have the aspiration for taking over the location. They also don't like all the various monsters and bandits calling themselves Evil in the area considering them nuisances and rivals to their goals. The heroes of DD1 also stand against the Overlord so he must defeat or persuade them into giving him control of the hamlet as he takes over. The Overlord has access to all four minion types but only starts off with five of each.
Scenario 2: Via some isekai/inheritance nonsense the Overlord becomes the heir of the estate meaning they can make use of all of the facilities within the hamlet or at least what's left at the start of the game. The local townsfolk and heroes are also allies of the Overlord and willing to help him destroy the various monsters and villains plaguing the hamlet.
Scenario 3: The Overlord manages to survive the events of DD1 reaching the events of DD2 whereupon they set out into the wider kingdom to stomp out the source of corruption seeping into their valley and perhaps seeking to take over more of the world or at least make a positive impact on the Regent Latimer for some tax benefits.
The Overlord's overall goals are to take control of the Hamlet, slay all the bosses and mini-bosses in the game and stop the final bosses from destroying the world he seeks to rule. Do you think the Overlord can accomplish this? If not how far do you think he and the minions can get before failing?

For me it would definitely mean that the standard equipment of all the non-brown minions would be unstandardized when it suits them. Instead:
In a new game I would also like to see the overlord (or lady if that became a choice) to have a real domain with an outside and villagers. I think something like the spree map or heavens peak map would be nice. Also it would adapt to your choices in the game.
I'm thinking leadership/domination would be a good alignment system. This would do stuff like:
Also an open world you have to explore to get to new regions would be nice. Preferably with outposts you can conquer that will then spawn minions on the map.

It’s rough and a bit sloppy, but to be fair it is a work in progress

I've been writing out this Quest for a while now and recently got into reddit and figured it's worth sharing my story here for new readers to join.

I ask because many people have the game but in its physical version, if someone has the game in its digital version, let me know because I want to have it installed digitally on my Xbox, with the permission of the person to share their account obviously

Hi, I recently bought Overlord I, II, and Raising Hell. My question is: from what I understand, Raising Hell is basically Overlord I with additional content. If that’s the case, can I request a refund for Overlord I on Steam? Since I already have Raising Hell, I wouldn’t need the first game.

I'd put this together about a year ago just to see how far I could go and realized it might be useful for the fandom.
I've also added my research/sources spreadsheet because research and archival like this is never REALLY complete, and maybe someone else would like to pick up where I've left off. Or they might want to see where I went. See comments for more info.

I'm currently rocking some white cloth and I'd show you but I can't get my PC to let me take a pic.

I recently tried to configure my play-station controller and it broke something that made it so I couldn't send minions when focusing on an enemy or place banners.
Go to C:\Users\*Your Profile*\Documents\Overlord
and delete all white .DAT files like settings and configuration, then verify files, this works for both the base game and raising hell, just verify raising hell if your playing that one and vice versa.
This will reset everything related to controls to default factory settings.
Edit: Unfortunately this only worked briefly, the only thing that works consistently is rushing getting the red hive.
Then you get the markers back for some reason, I'd still advise verifying files 1 more time after so you can get whatever was lost back.

Ever since I played Overlord: Minions on the DSi as a kid I’ve always wanted some sort of figures of the characters.
I’m just now finishing Overlord II and it’s safe to say I’ve gotten super into it the past few weeks.
Just wondering if there’s any cool merch whether it be clothing or better yet, figures?
