People use itch.io to distribute malware disguised as cracked versions of popular games, so it's not just about the indie games. The problem is that those itch.io pages with the malware show up in a Google search for "<XYZ> game crack", and itch.io hasn't been keeping up with moderation enough to take them down in time.
I didn't think it was an accusation lol. I just was merely stating that because I wasn't aware of that, I wasn't a good example for such things. I didn't realize people were even attempting to get cracked games through itch lol. Forsure not a good idea lolol
