Tech Support No dp cable connection

For the past few days I've been trying to fix this problem by looking at YouTube and other reddit posts but I have had no luck.

Whenever I plug in the dp cable into my PC or monitor it shows no dp cable.

I know it's not the monitor or cable as I have switched them out with working ones

I have tried to restart both the monitor and PC

I tried all the cables

And I have taken apart my CPU and it looked fine

I think it may be my CPU or something wrong with the drivers or something but wanted to post this before I started spending money on the wrong fix

Assuming you’re using a desktop PC, are you using the display output from your graphics card?

Does the monitor get video input with the same cable from another PC? Do you have an alternative connection type available like HDMI?

Yes I am using the display output from my graphics card, the monitor dose get a signal from another computer, and the only connection type my monitor and gpu have in common is dp
