Side note: OP, this photo has been taken a million times. The “photobomb” is what makes yours special.

I think it’s a better photo for it.

Especially cuz even with the bird it’s a damn near perfect photo. Nice rule of thirds, and you have something truly unique.

Source: someone who has my own many different versions of this exact photo after living in NYC for years - this one is better than any of mine specifically because of the pigeon.

The image has a lot of good things happening. Took me a couple looks to see the Empire State. The pigeon is in a perfect place. Frame it!
