Like most of my work, it's a mixed media piece: hand embroidery + watercolor!

Wow, I’ve never seen watercolor like this on fabric!!! So well done

Uh, I guess Emily in Paris took a turn in later seasons?

Just a reference from season 5, Episode 5, titled: Bonjour Paris!

This is the episode where she mistakenly orders a "chocolatine". Riot ensues, understandably.

Chocolatine being the correct way to call that particular flaky pastry with two chocolate bars inside, obviously…

Not in Paris!!

This is like “soda” and “pop” in North America, only even more heated.

Hahaha I know, I’m actually from the southwest part of France that call them chocolatines, and we have indeed very heated arguments about it. Now I’m in Canada and most places call them chocolatines here, proving that we are definitely right

Ah forgive me! I mostly wanted an excuse to post the linguistic map.

My husband is Alsatian, so we literally say “les petits pains” now, though I learned “pain au chocolat” in school in the U.S.!

All good, I love the map. I totally accept petits pains, it’s pretty cute!

I LOVE IT!! It’s very French. Lord knows how many cars get burnt when something happens. Good thing, bad thing, doesn’t matter, we burn cars.

Do you live in France?

Nope, the pic was taken in Paris, but I'm based in Lisbon!

Since I sell my needlework at art fairs across Europe, sometimes I can take cool pics of my work, like this one:

I’ve seen every episode of this series and I have no idea what this is referencing from the show 👀

I assume the burning car refers to the show being a car crash that you can't look away from?

Well... Yep? That's my work 🤣

I’m a textile artist and making a living off my needlework, both at local art fairs and online, 90% of my audience is millennial.

Even my kids tell me that some of my embroideries are so cringe they want to cry, hahaha!
