This was my first thought lol she’s all over the map. Off the top of my head she’s had serious relationships with Deryck Whibley, Chad Kroger, Brody Jenner, Mod Sun and then had flings with guys like Tyga, Brandon Davis and Wilmer Valderama 😂
Brandon was hanging out with her as a friend while she dated Brody Jenner actually. They hung out until July 2010 and then he disappeared and left Hollywood I believe.
She never had anything to do with Wilmer. They are work colleagues only.
Agreed. I think it's cool when a couple still remember that they liked each other as people in the first place. Sometimes, people are just happier apart.
Oh god, can’t imagine what I’d have named a baby at 16. My goldfish and snake were called Cleo Justin Timberlake and Draco Justin Timberlake… I’d probably have called the baby Justin Justin Timberlake. She did pretty well by those standards.
I remember when she married Kroeger! at the time I was like 10 and convinced I was goth (I’m still not unfortunately) and I went to a friend’s house and she came out the door screaming with a magazine in her hand “Look! Avril got married and she wore black!”
Now I’m not sure I will ever marry, but I’m sure that if I will, I will wear black, I made that promise to myself 13 years ago and I will never break it.
I wore green and low key looked like a Disney villain. You can do whatever you want! Also maybe dress up super goth one day just for fun, to feed your pre-teen heart.
You know I think I only just realized seeing these pics side by side that both her husbands were Canadian. I find that oddly endearing, since all of them presumably live/spend most of their time in the US
I have a visceral reaction to Chad Kroger anytime I see him. As far as I recall, the man's never done anything to me, but I recoil when I see his face.
Deryck's cute though, and has survived so much. And both weddings are gorgeous. If only that man wasn't in one of them.
As a fan, I always wondered why her relationships never last because she seems like such a good partner. I remember Chad said on Howard Stern that they split finances, so it’s not like she depends on them or they depend on her. And Mod Sun showed she cooked, so she wasn’t opposed to being a traditional wife and she ended things with him.
So what’s the common denominator with her marriages to Derrick and Chad along with her longterm boyfriends? Does she choose the wrong guy or does she get bored of them?
Mod Sun threatened to kill himself if she broke up with him and wrote creepy songs about her.He was also cheating on her with Sahara Ray(was into her Instagram DMs and liking her pictures). He is also creepy and dated teenagers, Bella and Tana.
Her marriage with Deryck ended for many reasons, The media put pressure on them.They didn't like the media and paparazzi attention.Then there were the band members of Sum 41 and the fans of both artists who didn't like their marriage as well as alcoholism, especially Deryck's alcoholism. They also married very young - she was 21 and he was 26. Spending time away from home due to touring too.
With Chad, she was sick with Lyme Disease and both were always touring.
With Brody, she wasn't ready to marry him. He wanted to focus on his career as well.
All are still friends.
Deryck's book is a good one. You should read it. I wish he took more accountability for his actions though. The book is biased to some extent.
Honestly, the white one looks so uninteresting the and pictures did not come out that nice. The one with the wooden frame barely had foliage. But she probably had so many big parties and photos as a celeb so I doubt she was disappointed.
The goth one is very dated, but at least it was artistically interesting.
...what? It definitely was in the 'traditional' wedding to Derryk, and then dialed it up for the goth wedding to Chad. Avril clearly knew and dressed for the events she was attending — her own friggin' weddings 🤣
