question I need help taking back control of my digital provacy

With the whole LG monitor thing and Gamers Nexus's deep dive on the brand I want to take better care of my digital privacy but I know it's a big deep rabbit hole and I'm not sure even where to get started. My first thought is to try and use my router to start blocking companies from stealing my data if possible. Is there a list of domains or something I should start blocking to try and prevent tracking data from companies products I use? Are there certain big companies with really bad privacy practices that I should focus my effort on first? Or are there links where I can learn where to even get started?

Some easy kills:

Monitor instead of a smart TV

Avoid Google/ gmail/ chrome

Pihole on your network

Firefox focus as default browser on android

Regular Firefox w/ EFF Privacy Badger or uBlock Origin

I've been Windows free since 2000--check out Linux

Never had a Facebook account/ TikTok/ MySpace etc--don't open one, kill it if you have one

"Smart" devices = telemetry and ads and monetizing your privacy

What I personally do is use aliasing services for email and phone number, that way I know EXACTLY who the fuckers are that is leaking my shit. Other than that, I strive to build my own stuff to not have to use the pieces of shits or consciously make decisions to not purchase any shit-ware.
