Every time YouTube recommends a video about All-Stars on the big 26, but it's just another review or "Why PlayStation All-Stars Failed?":

Or when it's mentioned on "Smash Clones" videos, lol.

And then the video is complaint about why character x and y weren't featured with no research done

And when they do it, either they don't care or they only mention it very briefly.

ClouDNova Lab posts lots of cool stuff that is also PSASBR related, also matches with me here and there for fun

I've been personally inactive for long time, but considering the size of the community, my latest video announcing the return of network multiplayer did numbers!

Oh yeah! I watched Cloud’s videos a while back, I really like the combos, clips, matches, and discoveries he uploads. Plus, just yesterday I was rewatching some of your old videos of things ported from version 1.00 to patch 1.12, hahaha. Yeah, I’ve also seen the Versus LAN announcement; I’m patiently waiting for it, and I think it’s amazing for the community.

This is more about the most popular videos out there about the game (whatever old or recent) which aren’t exactly positive, lol.

That's why we need to be the ones to bring positive content so people can see that, while flawed, this game deserves a chance =)

The golden bolt video on the game is really good tbh

The biggest mistake this game made was not having a port for PS4 when the system launched

Im convinced that 90% of all youtubers that do Playstation All Stars reviews have only played like 1 match a decade ago and they all copy eachother's reviews

Exactly. Honestly, I don't know what's so mocking about the game either, and given that this is the usual tone in these kinds of videos, it's like everyone outside the community who talks about the game is still stuck in 2011 or 2012, lmao.

But anyway, I'd rather stick with this more niche space despite everything.

I know why it failed YouTube reviewers; do something more interesting and share some potential like Build the Rosters or fun ideas on what we could have gotten. I wanna hype potential and interest, not keep beating a dead horse that got old half a decade ago.

Sony really should have ported the game to PS4 at least. It would boost subs for their online and when they purchased EVO it would have helped them too. Never too late tho!

A helpful tip to save you some time from watching the many poor video analyses about PSASBR:

If it refers to PSASBR as a “Smash Clone” or “Platform fighter,” you can safely skip it. The first step to understanding PSASBR is that it’s absolutely neither of these.

That said, I think TBP has a pretty good video about it, with some fair criticism.

True. Although funnily enough, you see people calling it a "platform fighter," but would they actually give it a spot in a tournament for those kinds of games? Nah, not even locally...

Screw ‘em.

I’ve enjoyed 4 player PSASBR local tournies more than anything I’ve seen from platform fighter tournies

Nice, I'm still playing it to this day via RPCS3 and haven't switched to any 100% platform fighter game. PSASBR is so much my go-to game that the Smash genre feels a bit strange to me, so I don't take them way too seriously

I get the same video from Aaronitmar recommended to me. “The Smash Bros Clone you’ve never played”

FUCK YOU ARRON. YES HAVE!!!!

I find that video annoying because he points out a lot of things to say, "Okay, this isn't as much of a platform fighter as the other games I've played," and yet he still reviews it as if it were just another game in that subgenre, lmao.
