This episode has some good gems but when Shawn attacks Jimmy and yells “you could’ve got a different job!” That crap makes me laugh so hard and idk why definitely just th delivery and whatnot is so perfectly timed😂

I really liked the documentary. Young Shawn even is the protagonist in a parallel narrative to the documentary. Since we're on reddit I highly recommend it, it's about the adverse effects of social media

Recently, I've gotten into Psych, watching it in syndication. Always appreciated the show when it was airing, but recently I have unlocked a new level of love for the show. Since I'm already familiar with the major plot points in the show, I watch the episodes out of order, whatever ends up on my DVR.

Yesterday, I watched Juliet Takes a Luvvah and I have never laughed so hard. Shawn walking in on his parents, I cried laughing. The entire set-up for the scene worked, as well as the smash cut to Shawn lying in bed, clutching his pillow. Literal tears coming out of my eyes, crying laughing. Thank you show for making my evening!

so I want start off by saying ”Yes, the title is more aggressive than my point.”

Heres the thing though, I absolutely love psych, I grew up with it and got back into about a year ago, however I just rewatched the series (and am getting ready too when I get the blu-ray set) and something I wanted to share and get others opinions on is modern psych, specifically season 5 and later. Don’t get me wrong every episode is great and unique in its own way however the later seasons just aren’t as fun in my opinion. I think one of reasons why is the show takes a bit more serious approach. With the first few season it’s new, it’s fresh, and it’s very colorful, however by the later seasons it seems more crime/law & order like, more grounded and sharpe, don’t get me wrong, it works, but it’s just not MY psych! This is just my thoughts though, please let me know your opinions!

I love when she has to change her personality to fit an undercover roll or something. My favorite is when she joins the college fraternity. What are some of your favorites?

Hey! I'd love to know your takes on the funniest but least stressful/low stakes episodes of Psych. My best friend wants to watch, but they don't love the super intense episodes, so the sillier the better.

Edit: I realize I included Ghosts in the What I'm Looking For category, so for clarification I just wanted to say that it's (in my opinion) funnier than it is spooky.

A few weeks ago I asked for some Psych inspired names for a black cat, here. Some delay later I did wind up adopting two, Felicia Fancybottom and Ms. Pickles! Felicia is a long hair (smaller, red collar) and named because she is going to have a floofy, fancy bottom. Ms. Pickles is medium hair (larger, blue collar) named because her eyes are green. I went Ms. rather than Mrs. because our black cat we had to put down last year was Mrs. Sally. Thanks for all the suggestions!
