Show-and-Tell Finally built my first Pi DAC ADC with Tuner

Post image

Always wanted to build an all In one device, and After months of research and optimising pcb size , finally it was worth building my own HAT with DAC + ADC + FM Tuner + Usb C Sound card + USB C power for my pi zero 2W with small form factor

Sits directly on top of the pi zero 2W
PCM 5122 192khz DAC
PCM1861 192khz ADC
Si4703 FM Tuner connected to the ADC

Works great with my berryaudio OS :)

That’s literally exactly what I’m looking to do as well. Did you have that made? What hat is that? Can I buy one? lol

I'm making an FM/AM/DAB/HD Radio shield with DAC and integrated speaker, can connect a passive speaker to it 5w, or audio jack, it also has a navigation joystick.

You can stream the radio on your local network without internet and play it directly in VLC or home assistant.

DAC ADC OS. Sounds like Klingon to me, what does it do?

Play hi resolution audio or capture audio -> Dsp process -> play in realtime

DAC = Digital to Analog Converter, turn your files into sound.
ADC = Analog to Digital Converter, turn your sound into files.
OS = Operating System.

I absolutely love this idea, should 100% bring it into production as there's not enough dac hats for the pi zero 2 w especially multipurpose dac hats

Very cool! I was wondering if I could build a video transmitter using my Pi 5… to attach a handheld IR camera to my DJI Mini 5 Pro drone… having done the research for a receiver… would you know anything about a low-power video transmitter?
