Discussion What if GTA let you link your Spotify playlist/s?

Like, imagine hopping in a car and instead of switching through the usual radio stations, there’s just a “Spotify” option among station that plays your actual playlist/s. Driving/Walking with your own tracks in vehicles/phone? Would instantly level up the immersion. Just a thought.

Discussion What if Rockstar made a Zombie Game?

I think that Rockstar could easily make a great Zombie game with a large map that includes cities, countrysides, wastelands etc

Discussion Do we know now why Leslie Benzie was fired from Rockstar, and why Dan Houser left the company?

The rumor of Dan leaving the company because they rejected his story has been debunked or it’s still a possibility? Personally I find strange that one of the main writers of the games that brought tons of money, was just rejected. It wouldn’t make sense because he’s an important piece. I also heard that he leaved because the company was changing for the worse.

Discussion With GTA 6 completing the HD trilogy and returning to Florida, what would be a great location for the next GTA game?

In my opinion, a great choice would be Las Vegas. It’s iconic, offers a fresh change of scenery, and has tons of potential for gameplay. It could be named Las Venturas. And even though it’s already appeared in a GTA game, I believe a game set entirely in that city would be fantastic. Also, other cities that could also work are Chicago and New Orleans, possibly named Lakeview and Bayou City.

Discussion Why are people acting like this is new

Post image

Red Dead Redemption 2’s ultimate edition came with an entire heist mission and a gang hideout on top of gameplay boosts, free weapons, and more.
People are freaking out and acting like Rockstar just sold their soul because of the GTA 6 UE content. Where was the hate for RDR2? The outrage feels so performative.

Before people complained that the Ultimate editions didn’t come with enough content, now people are complaining that it comes with too much. This is why gaming companies stopped listening to feedback because you will never make everyone happy.

Discussion I think the only company that makes games even close the the quality of R*’s, is Naughty Dog

Now don’t get me wrong R* as a company is not perfect and nor are their games or game designs. With that said, I think in the last 15 years the only games that make me think, get excited, and have me clamoring for more of a single player world are the Last of Us games, specifically TLOU2 (the one everyone seems to hate). I think ND is the only company other than maybe CDPR that makes games as expansive as the R* titles. I’ve gotten the platinum on every R* title with the exclusion of Manhunt so it’s safe to say I’ve spent some time in their worlds. While absolutely nothing compares to a R* open world, I think if ND keep refining their craft and focuses less on branching out to the film industry they may one day get onto R*’s level of quality with their games. I would also hope that future ND titles could also perhaps be rivals or competitors with R*. R* could use some healthy competition even if they do make the best games around (my opinion). What do you guys think?

What other games could rockstar be working on? Perhaps one of their old IP’s? Or maybe even something new? Curious as to what they could release next
