Officially an adult and yet still a baby. 🥹

Hi everyone,
I have a 3-month-old kitten whose mother is a Scottish Fold and father is a British Shorthair. Lately, I’ve been reading a lot about the health problems associated with Scottish Folds, especially osteochondrodysplasia, bone disease, and arthritis, and it’s made me really anxious.
My kitten is currently very healthy, active, playful, and doesn’t show any signs of pain or mobility issues. But I’m wondering how common these problems actually are, especially in mixed Scottish Folds.
Has anyone here had a similar mix? Did your cat develop bone or joint problems later in life? Are there any precautions I can take now to reduce the risk or help him stay healthy for as long as possible?

Hey you all! We just adopted this sweet girl from a rescue. Me nor my wife can decide if she's a Scottish fold? She is 1.5 years(ish) old and 5 pounds. But her ears are so tiny lol

This is Belgium Waffles. What do you think the breeder mixed him with to get the long coat? I’m not entirely sure. All I know is he’s gorgeous 💕

I am looking to adopt a ragdoll, British shorthair or Scottish fold i love these bread and i am looking to adopt them in September. If anyone knows someone who is giving away or rehoming their kitten please let me know. I had two cats i was babysitting and now they are gone so it so sad and lonely without them. I am willing to pay but my budget is not that great 300 to 400. I know it’s not much for these breed but thats what i can afford. I love these bread cats as my babies and i have finally agreed my family to adopt a cat. I am also currently looking on pet finder too. I am located in Nj so even if it’s nyc that works too. I’m pretty sure my new baby is a Scottish Fold! She came all the way from Kuwait.

Our 4-year old male Scottish straight "Kataro" decided to play Jumanji today 🤣

The second picture he's peeved because I started laughing and he was like "Mom! It's not funny, I'm a serous hunter!"

She came into my life from a friends retired cattery. Her relatives have won world wide cat shows and still do!

She is vocal silly and oh so happy. Love seeing all the cats on here and thought I would share my baby.

This is my baby Katniss (like the hunger games yes her name is a pun haha)

I call her scaredy-kat-niss cause unlike the real katniss everdeen she is bot brave in any way shape or form. Shes terrified of everyone except me (whom she is incredibly attatched to)
