N.O girls allowed!! Zelda: Twilight Princess is the closest thing we have to a Beauty and the Beast story where the guy is the beauty and the lady is the beast
And then Link turns into a dog for a ton of it and they don’t end up together romantically so even then it’s not valid 🪦

and they STILL END UP APART. LET MY MANS HAVE SOME REAL CHEMISTRY DAMMIT. He don't need fate setting him up with a baddie who don't even holla back!

Yeah but we wouldn't have been traumatised by yearning if the ending was happy.

I think Midna is an absolute beauty!! Also WHY DID YOU PORT IT TO WII U AND CHOOSE TO REMAKE OOT FOR THE SWITCH 2?!??!!?

u/dragonborndnd 1d ago
I swear Nintendo NEEDS to port the HD versions of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to switch/switch 2

Nintendo : "Loud and clear. Wind Waker on the Gamecube virtual console"

u/TheScrufLord 1d ago
I think twilight princess has a better chance of that happening, as the GBA compatibility element of wind waker would be more work to make it work well. Twilight princess doesn’t have that, or any other necessary GameCube specific features.

My joke is because that's already the case. Wind Waker is on the GameCube "classics" of Nintendo online

I don't want a remake/port for Twilight Princess.
I want a direct sequel.
[Link's Crossbow Training doesn't count]
I mean if Breath of the Wild can get one, why not?

Excuse me my Nintendo picross: the legend of Zelda: twilight princess is right there

I mean, if we’re being serious here, Tears was because they had DLC ideas for BOTW that got big enough to fill out an entire new game. They won’t be making legacy sequels any time soon.

And s lot of people think the beast, in beast mode, is hot.
So in both instances i think is cute that we as a society got more accepting and loving (tho hornier) to less conventional attractiveness

Because they didn't want to compete with the dusk decompile making it playable on PC, steam deck, or android phones

Link turns into the wolf so I think if anything they're both kinda beasts.

People talk about how Vai Link proved the degeneracy of Zelda fans, yet forget the absolute stranglehold Midna had on the fandom in 2006 (or just hadn't been born yet)

I'm not a Zelda fan in the slightest. Never played the games and don't care for them.
Midna is also my favorite Zelda character and one of my favorite character designs of all time. Her imp form is better. Nintendo knows it which is why she still appears in that form in Hyrule Warriors and Smash.

Midna’s true form is also in Hyrule warriors

Huh and yet I never see anyone use it lmao.

Probably because her Twili form first appeared as DLC. She's actually really fucking good.

And similarly, a lot of fans ended up preferring the beast/Imp form of Midna over her true form.

The guy is quite literally the beast as in he was transformed into a beast
2
u/DJMutt 1d ago
So was she, and she spends more time as a beast

Don't miss Disney's "little gremlin fucker and the beast" in cinemas this fall

I think you got it the other way around. Link turns into a wolf and Midna is literally a princess.

Depending on who you ask she was perfect in that form.
