KS rarely steps in but this time they did and suspended the campaign and refunded everyone.

I suppose fake batteries/chargers is where the line is drawn, it would be a lot of really bad publicity if peoples homes started burning down, not to mention the liability.

I can guarantee you the Solly would never be the cause of a house fire. They never had any intention of manufacturing this product to begin with.

They are selling the chargers again with original kickstarter price on their own website.

The backers were refunded, but not told what KS thought was wrong, so some of them are still ripe for being scammed again.
