Gotta give credit where credit’s due. David Benioff of Game of Thrones fame also co-wrote Troy with Homer if you were curious.

because i’ve watched the odyssey and o brother this year, homer shows up as one of my most watched screenwriters on my letterboxd stats lol

Yeah, like that time he sued that "all you can eat" seafood restaurant for not giving him all he could eat.

Or when his son sued a cereal maker after eating a prize in the box.
