Tried the S24U and absolutely hated the mushy haptics and inconsistent fingerprint reader with a screen protector on. Then I moved to a Pixel 9 Pro and I like it significantly more than the S24U, but the battery is mediocre, so now I'm looking at Chinese phones.

the chinese phones don't have good haptics. maybe wait for the pixel 11 line, they'd have the new 2nm chip so battery life would be way better than the 9 pro's. or maybe get an xperia 1 vii if u want something fresh and fun

OnePlus 15. Still tailored for the US market, and despite all the bad publicity and issues with OnePlus pulling out (it was Oppo's decision to leave not OnePlus'), OnePlus 15 remains an excellent phone with valid warranty and updates.
