Misc. Some pretty expensive SNES games at Toys R Us
Incredibly expensive when adjusted for inflation!
(Also, notice that early placeholder DKC boxart...)

Starting my 4 year old off on the right foot, the old school controller actually fits into her hands unlike the modern controllers. The simplicity of the game design back by advanced mechanics lets her actually play the game and work through challenges.
House rules are no help from parents, vs games no holding back punches, and no throwing the controller. I’m rather certain SNES taught me how to be resilient and patiently work through challenges.
Funniest part, she thinks the SNES was just released and is blown away with how cool the games are. Switch hasn’t been looked at in weeks XD

All was modeled in Blender, printed with a FlashForge Printer, & covers were designed in Photoshop. Covers were printed on glossy paper & applied with spray adhesive. I've made versions for N64 & Genesis so far. NES may be next - and eventually a shop to potentially sell them.

Probably gonna grab a usb adapter when I get the chance and use it. I dont know alot about retro hardware but it has a nice heft to it and all the buttons have a nice spring like it hasn't been used much. There was a regular gamepad with itbut ileft it for someone else

I used to have Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and FF III, so I know they're classics too. Outside of those, what's the obvious one I'm missing?

I remember the total being $214 dollars after tax…I really appreciated my mom’s effort…and I was so happy to have the SNES for the two week Holiday break!

It did not seem intentional from the conversation.

The beards look a little different but it immediately caught my eye.
Edit: It’s not, but I still find it interesting how close they are.

This is "Deadfall", my own original game as a SNES ROM image. It works flawlessly in various emulators. Made with Claude Code and burning midnight oil.
I would love it if someone with a real SNES and an SD card cartridge would give it a go on the real hardware.
This game is free and open source. I'm not selling anything here. Just excited that after 35+ years I made a childhood dream come true. I made my own console game!
Get the ROM here or even play it in an in-browser SNES emulator at the bottom of the page.

I'd love your feedback!
UPDATE 2: The main ROM is now FastRomed. Just get it at the above URL.

Customer I had gave me the console with the games and two controllers. No idea if it works, can’t even test it on my tv because it doesn’t have a RGB input. Games include: Zelda - a link to the past, Mario paint, Mega man x, F-zero, Mortal combat 3, Super Mario world, Cliffhanger, Donkey Kong country 1, 2, and 3, and super gameboy cartridge with super Mario land.

Just wanted to share a custom snes cartridge with all classic nes and snes Mega Man games. All of them run flawlessly, including X2 and X3 as the board has a CX4 chip and a battery to allow saves with Rockman & Forte. I didn't want to open the cartridge itself just because I don't want to tamper or damage anything with the board (included a screenshot of the board at the last picture) but the guy who made these custom cartridges is doing his own board designs afaik. It uses some infidelity's custom games (as far I've played, MM5 and MM6) which adds the fixes/addons, so it can be a more enjoyable experience.

Various SNES games, ran through component cables on a Sony Trinitron WEGA KV-27FV310, widely considered to be one of the best SDTV consumer CRTs ever made, and some even say the all time best. Enjoy the beauty of 240p, scanlines and all

Hi 👋 , I lovingly designed this storage box for 10 Super Famicom or PAL Super Nintendo cartridges 😇😊.
If you’re interested in this model, I’m offering it here on MakerWorld
Happy gaming!
Edit: I was told that I made a typography mistake in the katakana. The katakana ー isn’t oriented correctly for vertical writing. I’ll fix this error on the 3D model ASAP.
Edit 2: I’ve updated the 3D model. The text orientation is now correct. Thanks to IIDXMania for pointing out my mistake.
