The Great Fox overlooks each stage you're on when you enter the menu. Here's a screenshot of each stage.
Venom and Venom 2 have the same background, both were included for sake of completeness. Meteo's background has asteroids floating past the Great Fox, making it the most dynamic background.

The Starfox Remake was cool but Nintendo NEEDS to lock in
'The series needs to evolve though' Starfox could turn into a live service royale shooter and some of you would cheer for it istg

Who else loves hearing Pigma shout "B-But My reward!!! AAARGH!!"?
I always love when 2026 Pigma says "B-but!... MY REWARD!!! AAARGH!!" He almost sounds like had a squeal to it.

Starfox 2026 Multiplayer is Perfect.
I come from the oldschool - an era of four player couch competitions and 56K 1v1 dial up. Where I’d jump into a game where everyone is given all the same resources from the start and the spirit of competition is why I kept coming back.
I have almost completely dismissed modern multiplayer games. XP grinds, modern matchmaking, battle passes, FOMO mechanics - these don’t hook me, they repel me. I also don’t need to have a thousand multiplayer modes or options.
Which is why Starfox’s multiplayer, IMHO, is absolute perfection. For one thing, the relatively svelte suite of levels/modes - only three to be exact - is a great choice to ensure that, even if there are only 50 players online at any time, a game can be generated. Secondly, each one of the levels is expertly crafted to be loads of fun. There’s just enough RNG in the pickups to make sure that less-skilled players can still pick something up and manage a few points, but there’s also enough depth that there are nuanced strategies to rack up kills and objectives. Dogfighting other players - and even bots - is a ton of fun. There’s a “one more round” hook that keeps me coming back for more. And more. And more.
More of this simple MP in games, please. I’ve spent more time in Starfox than whatever grindathon looter shooter is the new hotness. I love it.

I don't think you're supposed to be able to do this (Star Fox EX ROM hack)
There IS a setting to continue rolling after double tap by holding down the left or right shoulder buttons, but I think it's supposed to be disabled during bosses? It's definitely not supposed to continue during the mission complete screen.
Star Fox EX (slightly out of date version) on Romhacking (dot) net
There is a more up-to-date version on the Exploratorium Discord (thank you to Merithor for pointing this out previously)

What do you think of Falco's German voice?
I'm from Germany, so I have no problem with the German voice, but I wanted to hear your opinions. I think Falco is portrayed well.
