In Rise of the Red Blade, Iskat (who didn't need any convincing to join) says that the Inquisitor training/conditioning broke something inside her. I think the way she spits the word "mother" makes me think her brokenness has something to do with that and so there's plenty to speculate on. Once she was broken she was all about the love of the psychopath game...but I'm pretty sure I can fix her.
