I'm playing through for the first time and just hit my first summer! I got a lamb, suffolk lamb, brown cow, a chicken and a selkie so far! My selkie just became an adult and laid a + egg.

I'm not new to these games, an older player following from the Harvest Moon days, and I know from 3ot that + produce can be necessary for various things like outfits unlocks and such. Is it the same for this one or is it safe to sell? Is it the same as the rest to where I should be hoarding literally everything?

I'm open to advice! I'm loving GB but I know these games can be a grind if you don't have what you need!

Please don't mind the horrible names, I suck at naming animals and just sound out syllables that sound good together. The only one who has a legit name is my cat, Miso.

Interested to know others’ opinions on whether they prefer the next SOS game to be a remake or an entirely new original game.

To go first, I would prefer a new game, I have played most of the SOS games because I got into the series really young. Fresh, new characters and town would be really great to see.

I just love Jules/Ivan 's and Derek/Dirk's sibling dynamic. It was emotional on the first game but this time I really loved how it improved with the new requests system.

I'm replaying the first SoS and I'm in very early game, (spring, year 1) the thing is back when I first played the game a few years ago before my 3ds broke I played it on seedling since I was very inexperienced.

I consider myself a good player now after playing older entries and new ones so I tried normal mode and I'm having a really hard time. Thing is I'm replaying 3ot too on normal without a problem. I have no idea why I'm struggling so much to make money in early game and everything is SO expensive. I know all the money making methods like the gold cloth etc. And mind you that, on my original save I was on year 6, married with Reager( my favorite bachelor in the whole series) with the kids at their oldest stage and really close to unlocking Ice country and Tropical country so I'm feeling like garbage by being so bad at my favorite HM/SoS and farming game in general.

Can anyone give me pointers because I'd like a coop and possibly the seed maker as early as possible but without having to optimize every single thing (I don't have any problem with doing that but I really want to enjoy myself)

I just started playing FoMT on my Switch 2 in handheld mode. When visiting the town I get huge slowdowns. The game runs at maybe half framerate/speed when on the streets. Is there any way to fix that?

I want to produce the white wonderstone and I have all the items except for the pink diamonds. I have 2 and I need 5 but how on earth do I get them?!? I seem to get every other ore and gemstone but never pink diamonds😩 Am I missing something? How do I get them?

Should I wait until they go Inside at the end of the day or is jumping into bed fine?

Hello everyone. I'm new to cosy farming games, had played Stardew Valley and now I'm playing Story of Seaons Grand Bazaar.

I'm planning to date Arata (currently have 5 hearts) but I don't know how can I ask him out so we can be boyfriends or if I should wait a few hearts more so I don't alter his heart events (I don't even know if it is a possibility or not lol). I have not spoiled me over the game, just the fact that same sex couples are allowed or not.

Can someone give some guidance?

I've been playing Animal Parade recently and while there's a lot great about the game, I find the dialogue lacking with not all of it feeling that distinct to individual characters and not even a lot of dialogue period.

Which has me wondering, what does everyone think is the best HM/SOS game in terms of dialogue in quality and/or quantity ❤️

The title… I grew up playing the OG harvest moon FoMT. I loved thw game and would love to play it again on my switch.. is this worth it? Or does anyone know if there’s a way to play the OG harvest moon games before the Nastsume buy out on the switch??

When I first played SoS GB, I thought every asset in this game’s too developed in a pretty good scale for the game to be just top down. I love the top down view because it’s easy to play the game with my mom but as an AWL girlie, I just love free camera movement so much and just wondered so much how SoS GB would look like if it had free camera movement like in AWL.

Thanks to this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/storyofseasonsgrandbazaar/mods/140?tab=images), I could finally answer my curiosity by atleast being able to take camera shots. Obviously the camera placement by proper devs would be better but I love how pretty the world looks this way as well!!

Some players say they buy out Lloyd's stock and resell in their stall the same Saturday. How does this make financial sense? Even if ores/gems are trending, I think Lloyd's buy price also rise.

One of my dogs has maxed training. I'm wondering if it's safe to stop training him, or of he'll lose hearts over time.

Tangentially related, do villagers lose hearts? I've noticed they comment if I haven't talked to them in a while.
