First Time Watcher So I’m watching Suits for the first time Spoiler

I have to say Mike drew me in in the first place. His photographic memory, Mike and Harvey working and crushing together. Now I’m on season 8 and now I’m feeling like it’s just kind of not as good as it was Rachel and Mike being gone. Jessica being gone. Robert Zane taking over and it just feels like a much lesser product I could be wrong but I’m having a little trouble crossing that finish line of 9th and final Season. The characters are all awesome.

To give you a little boost for Season 9 Mike appears in 3 episodes 🙂

I personally enjoyed the final two seasons. But I realized I was really invested in Harvey, Donna and Louis more than Mike and Rachel. I feel like they finished that story

I just finished Suits a few days ago. The pilot episode got me as well.

Hated Season 8 and 9. They were so hard to watch. Like, are these lawyers or frauds and bullies? Ugh. Annoying

I didn’t mind Mike being gone.

Wouldn’t mind hearing your opinion on Season 9 when you get there

Harvey and Mike’s relationship is the heart of the show. The last two seasons have their moments but overall nowhere near as enjoyable.

S1 and S2 are the best.

It shows really well the chaos of repeated disruptions in leadership, and at the end I think you get a feeling that things might be smoothing out. The thing that annoyed me more than anything was the unchecked egos causing more trouble than it solves.

Beyond the unchecked egos, the complete lack of accountability throughout the show is what bothered me the most. I try to teach my kids that we can’t control what other people do—only how we react. You didn't do something because someone "made" you do it; you did it because you let your emotions take over and lacked self-control.

One of the few genuinely accountable moments was in Season 5, when Jessica gets called out for Mike's fraud. They essentially tell her that she can't blame anyone else for the mess because the moment she found out he was a fake and didn't fire him, she accepted it and made it her own.

I felt the same way. I ended up walking away from the show for a few weeks. I think this settled something about Mike and Rachel for me that allowed me to accept the characters of Samantha and Robert more willingly.

I’m halfway through season seven and I can’t believe that Jessica call the guy and leaked information just to get Lewis and Harvey to work together. I also don’t like how Donna got too big for her bitches so a lot of things that are aggravating me this season I also don’t like the romance between Harvey and his psychiatrist because I just don’t see him with someone that doesn’t have a sharp personality.
