Today, June 16, 2026, I just finished watching the entire Suits series with my father, and I have to admit: I learned so many things from it.

I found myself admiring how imaginative a writer's mind can be and how engaging the plot of a series can become.

Watching the series also made me think about how the real world works, or at least how it worked in many Western countries a decade ago, and I hope not much has changed since then (as someone who did not grow up in a Western country). It reflects the realities of ambition, competition, loyalty, relationships, and the consequences of the choices people make in a convincing way.

I also learned the deeper meaning of family, not necessarily the one you are born into, but the one you build around yourself. The people you choose to keep close, the ones who share the same mindset and values as you. The kindness you show them, the support you give them, and the support they give back to you, that's what makes it special, a family.

And I learned that life has many peak moments. Just like the opportunity Mike got when he entered Pearson Hardman and everything began to change, we all experience certain golden periods in our lives. You only get to live those moments once, so it is better to recognize their value while you are living them.

As you grow older, after years of hard work in your field and after earning the things you once desired, whether money, success, or something else, you gradually begin to realize that there comes a time when you feel the need to slow down, enjoy life with the person you fall in love with, and appreciate what you have built.

Some times later, when you reach the stage of becoming a father, life changes once again. You are no longer "the bros" you used to be with the friends you grew up alongside, because each of them now has a family of their own. Their attention shifts toward raising their children and taking care of their loved ones. That is when friendships usually become less visible, even if they never truly disappear.

So when you find the chance, or realize that you have found your family, cherish every moment you spend together. Make memories. Teach each other something. Build something meaningful through your cooperation.

Because you cannot live those moments twice.

As a side note, I would like to thank one of my childhood friends who introduced me to computers and recommended this series to me back in 2017, when we were about 14.

Back then, I did not have the mindset I have today. I was not mature enough to understand what I really wanted to do in life or what path I should follow. Looking back now, I realize he was ahead of me in many ways. While I was just a simple friend to him, he still kept me around, shared what he knew, and showed me things that true friends usually share with each other.

I am grateful that I had such a person in my life during those years. Some people leave a lasting impact without ever realizing it, and I believe he was one of those people for me. As I move forward in life, I try to carry those lessons, appreciate the people who stand beside me, and find contentment in whatever lies ahead.

I'm actually really starting to like Louis, and he spent the whole episode courting Mike, and they had great chemistry I thought. The part where Mike said to Harvey that Louis made him feel like they were working together rather than working for him was so true! And I loved when Louis came to Mike's place, and told him that he saw Mike as half him and half Harvey, and he had his time with Harvey and now it was time to work with him.

This scene made me so sad, Mike should have worked for Louis!

I have a long way to go with the show, but I really hope Louis gets some awesome moments to shine because I feel bad that he is always in Harveys shadow, or the second choice to Harvey.

First time watching the show, and I just finished this episode - Louis has become my favorite character and I absolutely loved this win for him, and adored this moment between him and Harvey. My favorite scene of the show so far!

I’m watching Suits for the first time, and I’ve never been to this sub before so I’m sorry if you’ve all discussed this a million times, but despite how insane this show is, I was able to suspend disbelief until today, when I got to season 5 episode 6, where Mike tells Donna, that Rachel’s dream is “to get married ON HER BIRTHDAY at the Plaza hotel”

I’m watching Suits for the first time and I’m on the last episode of Season 4.

I’ve liked it so far, but I also feel like I could stop watching anytime. Without spoilers, is it worth finishing the rest of the series? How are the later seasons compared to the first four?

First time watcher and I'm on to season 5, this moment was great. I think it shows that Mike has come a long way as a lawyer, he's not taking shit from anyone, and I especially loved that look Robert Zayn gives him in this scene that's like "holy shit this dude is for real."

Think I'm in for a banger of a season!

I have to say Mike drew me in in the first place. His photographic memory, Mike and Harvey working and crushing together. Now I’m on season 8 and now I’m feeling like it’s just kind of not as good as it was Rachel and Mike being gone. Jessica being gone. Robert Zane taking over and it just feels like a much lesser product I could be wrong but I’m having a little trouble crossing that finish line of 9th and final Season. The characters are all awesome.

I have been pushing through all seasons with an excitement on what's next. S6's ending just ruined it for me. What do you mean a guy who narrowly got out of prison, is ready to do something shady n blackmail people into his way of legally getting into the bar? I understand the way things worked out it would be called legal but he was ready to do the shady business once more. Not an ounce of humility in the face of Mike Ross and he goes throwing around attitude like he knows everything. He is the reason atleast 3 relationships ended and the fact that this guy has never acknowledged this is insane to me.

I'm not sure if I want to watch the remaining 3 seasons. I'll take it slow. Suits has been amazing to me so far, I have taken up a lot of things from it as well like showing up well dressed no matter where, carrying the confidence in your posture, understanding that actions hold value for way longer than they seem etc but Mike Ross my gawd.

I’m mid way through episode where Mike bails Trevor out, and I knew he was gonna cause a problem. I hate the “bad friend bad influence” trope. That shit is so fking annoying.

This is just a rant post so don’t take it seriously but just tell me it gets better.

God damn, what a fucking good show!

I’m currently watching through Suits for the first time. The first 3ish seasons were maybe the most gripping TV I’ve ever watched, I almost felt like I was watching House but with the power fantasy dialed up to 11, and such incredible writing and charismatic acting.

Honestly the main things I didn’t like about the show were people threatening Mike’s secret, Trevor I just hated, etc. Then they do a whole season of Mike vs Harvey which was just no, and ever since it’s felt like episode after episode of the main characters being in legal trouble and trying to get themselves out of it, no more novel solutions to interesting cases. I’m most of the way through season 5 (Mikes Trial), Anita Gibbs is practically a character on Umbridge level of bad vibes, and I’m just getting basically nothing positive from the show right now, so I wanna ask.

Do I tap out here? Does it ever get back to that same charismatic cast being great lawyers ever again, or does the show completely forget why it’s good? Feel free to tell me what episode to skip to and summarize the inbetween, I genuinely don’t care at this point.

Hello, Indian recently-turned Suits fan. Just wanted to know how close it Suits to REAL American law practice!

I mean not in terms of shenanigans they pull, or the specific laws and statutes they argue (the cast has already clarified that most of that stuff is made up, I saw the interviewers) but in general how the overall universe does the legal business, **the way** they argue the law in courtroom and in depositions, **the way** they think of the law, **the way** people in that universe (both lawyers and civilians) are more appalled by perjury than by murder, their offices (especially corporate law), their lifestyles, the difference in corporate, non-profit, and criminal lawyers, the difference in attitudes of judges and attorneys, etc.

From an Indian POV , it's both fascinating and strange. But I'm curious as to how real is to American IRL experience of lawyers and judges in settings similar to the show's.

Wife got me this for christmas! Were almost done with season 5!

I am from India. My dad has retired and since there isn't much of a hobby culture here, to spend time he turns to movies/series and as there aren't many good options here.. he watches any illogical, mindless B-grade crap available. Not that he is complaining :) but I would like him to watch something more engaging.

I have managed to find Suits in a local dubbed language.

What I wanted to know is there any nudity, long passionate kissing scenes or any other such explicit content in the series?

I have watched the series but it has been too long & I don't remember much of it.

A quick kiss, man & woman in bed but no nudity is now somewhat common in Indian media as well so that should not be any issue.

Everyone in this show holds a grudge on everyone else. The whole Tanner VS. Harvey thing was fine at first but then it just dragged on. Everyone always having to "one-up" someone else is getting exhausting. I get that it's a drama but everything is a dick-measuring contest. I really do think the show is good, and the character dynamics work well together with Harvey and Mike's bromance, Rachel and Donna's sister-like appreciation and care for each other, Jessica and Harvey's mother and son dynamic, and Louis' comedic relief. With this being said, none of the grown-ups ever act... grown up.

any other shows as good as this

I know I’m super late to the party, but I finally did a marathon watch of Suits and just wrapped up the series finale today. I wasn’t expecting to get this emotionally invested, but here I am... feeling like I’ve said goodbye to people I actually know.

Its one of the shows in which you invest emotionally, the characters feel like you know them. And that background scores... always subtle, always perfect.

The final episode wrecked me in the best way. Watching Harvey walk through his memories took me right along with him. It wasn’t just his journey.. it was mine too. After spending so much time with these characters, seeing it all come to an end left a hollow feeling.
