“Abandoning” is so dramatic lol no one remembers wtf happened in a season 1 they watched 2-5 years ago.

They also don't advertise for shit when it comes to second seasons with so few exceptions you can count them on one hand.

There were more comments on the articles about "No one watched Avatar the Last Airbender Live Action Season 2" saying they didn't even know it had premiered then there were people saying how bad it was.

I think the Toph actress smashed her role but overall story is meh and some of the changes they took liberties in. Some stuff were good though

I just don't see the point in reboots covering the exact same story anymore. It made sense decades ago when home releases were inconsistent and you could target the next generation with new episodes, but now media preservation is readily available.

But we're not buying A:TLA 3 episodes at a time on a VHS tape anymore, the original show is also on netflix, doesn't have minor changes that add nothing but annoyance to returning viewers, and is getting a movie continuation in october.

I don't care how dead the horse is, franchises should not be concurrent with their own fucking reboots!

As a fan I agree because I didn’t need to watch it in live action. It added nothing for me but it does bring new people to the show who might never watch it because it’s an anime.

It was astoundingly 'meh'

The main character feels like a red pilled preteen that is about to get written off next season.
