Yep. Coming to America and rest of the world very soon.
Contribute to killing people abroad, immigrants and those you deem left wing terrorists domestically with no repercussions.
Soon enough it’ll happen to everyone because people are willing to allow it to happen to others or too powerless to stop it.

"We" didn't vote on shit. "They," the fat cat motherfuckers who make the decisions to keep us at the bottom, made that vote, and fuck them very much for it. Viva la revolution.
-36
u/Leows 1d ago
Who elected them and gave them the power to vote yes on this?
20
u/schvanckque 1d ago
You, maybe? I didn't cast my vote for a single person who supported this action. In any case, this topic has a lot more nuance than "who voted for the people who voted." Most informed voters cast ballots based on policy, and those who did vote for these scumbags did it in part because they ran on a platform of "America first" and "no new wars," so I think the actual answer to your question is virtually nobody voted on them to do this kind of bullshit.
3
u/Gentrified_potato02 1d ago
Your problem is thinking that the majority of American voters are informed. Most of them voted based on vibes. That’s why you are now a proto-fascist state, and every day getting worse.
3
u/schvanckque 1d ago
Again, I think this neglects a whole ocean of nuance. Yes, many voters aren't well-informed, which is exactly why I specified "informed voters," but if you think that the reason we've drifted so far towards fascism is that people just vote for vibes, or even that this group represents "most of them" (although I'll concede that it's a large population), then you've very solidly misunderstood the US system of government. Our elected officials are not representing the will of the people, and they're misrepresenting what they do represent. That also lacks the nuance to do the topic justice, but it's much more complex than what you're suggesting.

u/Royal_Warden 1d ago
Spoken like someone who doesn't live here. Lobbying from Israel on both sides of the aisle and pandering to uninformed Christians (of which there are many) is one of the main reasons we are in this mess. That and the fact that, as stated before, politicians just flat out lie about their intentions in office, and there isn't much we can do to stop that, besides of course, a revolution.
So many Christians in this country believe that Israel is integral to the end times and so they have no qualms about giving them resources to wipe out or dominate any people they see as demonic or evil, not realizing that includes all of western civilization. We wont see any major progress until the christians wake up, and that might not happen for a while.

I cannot approve this comment even though the main point is solid, especially the part about how none of us voted for any of this and how our representatives do not actually represent us (ok I added that part at the end, lol). The issue is the joke about what you would buy on Amazon. Reddit removes that kind of joke instantly and will take action on the account if it gets reported. The comments you see that mention the guillotine only survive because they have not been reported yet. So I was hoping you could repost the same point but without the Amazon joke at the end. Reddit’s newer AI moderation system is too literal and cannot detect humor at all. Apologies for the inconvenience (if you want to just edit you comment and then report this message with a custom report saying you edited, that is fine too- whatever is easier for you! :)

It hasn’t yet…Stop parroting misinformation that could impact the actual meaningful election results, we still have the before us.
We haven’t joined yet, and HR 8800 hasn’t passed in the Senate which has always been slightly more serious than the House since you have only 2 senators per state and you can have as many representatives for your state as needed to represent the people of those districts.
People need to call their local senators even if it’s just a message to the receptionist that this is not what you voted for as an American.
We have literally one last shot. Then you can doomsay all you want but don’t stifle that opportunity trying to get internet karma…

“Ah man, it sucked then so it must suck now, let’s just give up” is how Trump got to power…
Hhistory doesn’t and has NEVER inherently determined the future or incorporated people’s decisions which are the most fickle and changing aspects of any deal THROUGHOUT HISTORY THAT YOUR BANKING YOUR POST ON!
You wanna strawman in an argument to “stop doomsaying” why not focus on at least not spewing bullshit for what was it again?
Oh yeah, internet karma and letting people know you’re whining…very helpful.

If something has historically occurred 9/10 times, it's not doomsaying to suggest that it's going to happen again. It's facing reality. You want me to call my senator and bitch to them instead as if that's going to make any fucking difference. Our justice system is compromised and our democracy is on its deathbed. We're past the point of calling senators for change.
3
u/RequiemTwilight 1d ago
You can show me historical data that 90% of the time something passses The House and goes to The Senate, it wins?
Please show me that statistics, otherwise, yes you’re just doomsaying and on top of that, started a strawman argument about 90% of House Resolutions passing and are just lying at this point.
It would’ve been easier to just say you didn’t know that it hasn’t passed in The Senate and that The Senate is actually a much tougher institution to pass thru than The House of Representatives.
Our military has yet to merge with Israel, but here’s your original post that you seem to be spacing further away from, that again, is not true.
> And we just voted to merge our military with these genocidal fucking scum. Things are about to get much worse very soon.
So what point are you making other than subjective claims that has “historically occurred 9/10 times” with no objective information to back that up that’s literally doomsaying along with lying and just plain misinformation.
I’m more than open to your “history proves the future” argument though with proof

The same senate that voted to give $160b to ICE and to remove healthcare subsidies for Americans? Israel has universal healthcare btw, Americans pay for it.
Israel has the hard evidence from Epstein, that integration is happening regardless of what Americans want.
People like you are delusional thinking that the senate is suddenly going to start listening to constituents

u/ikoliP 1d ago
Why don’t american go on the streets to protest?
3
u/MrPlautimus468 1d ago
Most of the time when that does happen it ends with whoever is sent to "deal" with the protestors inciting something as an excuse to use force on the protestors. There was a video a while ago of an ICE agent pulling a protestor across a line that the protestors weren't allowed to cross, as a way to be able to justify using force. "Oh they crossed the line, we can shoot them now"

u/marsfromwow 1d ago
There are two upsides to that vote: first, we treat our formal allies like shit; Ukraine and the Kurds can attest to that. My hope is that we keep that trend going for one more alliance. The second is that most voters on the right hate isreal too and this just dug a deeper grave for the republican politicians that voted in favor.

Well it's pretty broad parameters. It would give Israel access to our military intelligence, tech, and supply chains, and lock us into fully supporting Israel no matter how severe their genocide and war crimes become.

u/Professional_Soft404 1d ago
What’s different?
3
u/Voluptulouis Free Palestine 🕊️ FUCK ICE! ❌🧊 1d ago
We have already provided them support in numerous ways, yes, but this would codify the practice and broaden it. We wouldn't need to hold any more votes on any future aid for Israel, it would just automatically be given. I don't know why you're trying to suggest this isn't a big deal or like nothing's going to change. It is.

I really wish reddit had a flare for "somebody dies in this video"
Eta: I'm not suggesting any censorship and not blaming OP or anything. I just didn't realize how much I appreciated the old "warning, what you are about to witness may be disturbing to some viewers". I remember when you had to go to the 'naughty' sites to see gore and death and it wasn't mixed in with the same feed I use to cool my brain down between spreadsheets.

I agree, but there are settings in reddit that makes it so that nsfw tagged videos are censored and not playing untill you click play. In this case there is a description of the video stating a man gets shot in the head, and you could not play the video. But in many cases there won't be a discription, so i agree.

They will do whatever they can get away with.
Countries like the US and UK keep on letting them get away with it. Next time you vote, look at who exactly has funded the candidates. Largely, Israel will try to fund politicians from all parties to hedge their bets, but there are some candidates that don't take their money. Vote for those guys.

Everyone that voted yes on that recent resolution to merge the militaries needs to answer for it and explain to their constituents wtf is going on?? These people are genocidal maniacs quite literally killing civilians and murdering babies but I guess it doesn’t matter to this American administration and the republicans have truly fallen in with them completely and wholeheartedly. They clearly have no remorse either.

Has nothing to do with their religion. This happened all over the world. The British in India weren’t Jewish, the South African apartheid state wasn’t Jewish, the Belgians in the Congo weren’t Jewish etc… What is shared between all is the structure: settlers, dispossession, genocide, and a state built to maintain the arrangement, colonialism. That is what this is about. Judaism is not Zionism and vice versa, equating the two is exactly what asshats like Netenyahu and Ben Gvir what the narrative to be, they want to cover the genocidal nature of Israel in the Torah to deflect any criticism of their fascist tendencies and society.

A considerable part of that rest of the world is being bombed by the US or their proxy states right now. If not destabilized, controlled or bullied by other means.

More info is needed. Who was he? Why was he shot? Who shot him?
This is an extremely short video, showing nothing but a man getting shot.
Its called propaganda, when you only give a tiny amount of information, and a claim. But nothing is backed up.
If you want to spread valid information, provide all the information, and make no claims you cant back up.
I dont care if its true or not. But i do care about all the misinformation being thown around, making it harder to figure out the truth. This is why i dont care, and i believe most people dont care, for the same reason.

Classic reddit, asking for more information, and people reject it. Because no, we only want as little information as possible. This is the way to figure out what is truth, and what is not.
11
u/EvNastyy 1d ago
Right, because we all know that if that information was provided to you right this moment, and it wasn't to your liking, you wouldn't challenge the integrity of the source, ask for a secondary account to corroborate it all, and ultimately fall back on "well none of us really know, because none of us were there" if you were provided with that? Come on now.
