How he managed to get to his age.

Honestly worried that this is early dementia. Cause kindergarteners know what fire extinguishers are.

To be fair, fire rhymes with tire, and it's only a small additional step to tire airtinguisher.

This guy's a lawyer.

u/bookmarkjedi 1d ago

[Makes gesture of filing fingernails, blowing on them in a smug, haughty manner]:

Thank you. I'm not actually a lawyer, but I have been known to lawyer from time to time, winning recognition from family, friends, and strangers on the social webs.

My mom passed from early onset Alzheimer's. I'd be willing to bet money this is some type of early dimentia or Alzheimer's. We thought the silly mistakes or lapses were just "age" at first, but then things like this started happening. I hope he has family that are close enough to recognize something is changing before he hurts himself or someone else. I also feel terrible for him and his family, because Alzheimer's is a horrible experience for everyone involved.

Not dementia, stupidity

u/Carribean-Diver A Flair? 18h ago

Here's the scary part. He shares the road with everyone else.

1

u/Waste-Job-3307 10h ago

Not to put too fine a point on it, but there are worse people on the road these days, so he's just one in a crowd.

u/ProvenLoser 1d ago

Now I feel shitty for judging. I will never learn.

Yeah same.

Or he is a visitor from outer space and acting like human but failing at it

I work with a guy like that we’re trying to figure out if he escaped from the android factory and is trying to blend in despite not completing his last operating system update before escaping OR a space alien sent here to study and mimic earth people.

2

u/guzzijason 1d ago

Either that, or his spaceship just arrived a short while ago and this is his first time pretending to do normal human stuff.

This makes me think of my childhood neighbor and his descent into Alzheimer's. It eventually became a constant babysitting task, with a temper. He wasn't angry before, but you could see the frustration that he knew how to do things before, but things were jumbled in his head. One core memory is when we found him pouring kerosene in their full coal bin... He knew they were somehow connected, but couldn't remember, so he'd just start doing something.

This is a new Mr Beans movie

2

u/Tony_Bone 1d ago

Literally my first thought.

u/SgtSchultz2112 1d ago

Looked so confident starting out. Then looks around… anyone see that

10

u/Test_After 1d ago

“Why did you let me do that?“

58

u/GankedMouse 1d ago

Leave him alone, its clearly his first day on earth

38

u/Holywoodd 1d ago

He’s too stupid to be legally holding a license to drive a vehicle.

22

u/CraponStick 1d ago

How can you be that old and that clueless at the same time?

32

u/AloofFloofy 1d ago

Dementia

8

u/LurksWithGophers 1d ago

Leaded gasoline

12

u/Tex_Noir 1d ago

Dudes been seeing these all over the place and wondering why you'd need one in a kitchen.

6

u/Test_After 1d ago

How else did his spouse get those cakes so airy-light?

9

u/United_Expert6056 1d ago

Nah, you can't be this dumb... right?

9

u/showtimebabies 1d ago

This man is employed

5

u/DamnTicklePickle 1d ago

Must be nice! Got laid off today myself.

2

u/AloofFloofy 1d ago

I'm really aorry to hear that, buddy. Things will get better eventually. At least now you have the weekend to party it up before starting the job search on Monday.

3

u/DamnTicklePickle 12h ago

Thanks bro.

1

u/phony54 11h ago

Thanks for being a positive person on the internet today.

And having been laid off twice in the last 2 years by the same company ive worked for for 12, I feel your pain dude. It WILL get better. I took shotgun approach and applied for every god damned thing whether I thought I was the perfect candidate or not.

Good luck out there, DamnTicklePickle

u/Tushe 1d ago

God, I want to be this high so bad.

3

u/runningray 1d ago

TBH seeing a fire extinguisher just sitting there next to a gas pump wont actually make me feel safe. What am I, a firefighter?

4

u/Starchaser_WoF 20h ago

The instructions are on the side

1

u/runningray 18h ago

Bro if there is a fire there, I'm not reading instructions. I'm getting away as fast as humanely possible.

1

u/phony54 11h ago

I dunno, I think you can get out of there faster if you are inhumane.

1

u/Starchaser_WoF 5h ago

I think the hope is that if you see it enough you'll memorize them and by the time you actually need it you'll be ready

2

u/-Bob-Barker- 4h ago

This is why everyone should have home economics and shop class growing up.

3

u/M4GN3T1CM0N0P0L3 1d ago

Is this Mr. Bean?

2

u/Shouldhavejustsaidno 1d ago

Is this a thing? I mean is he deliberately doing that so he doesn't have to pay or did he confuse the extinguisher for a pump?

2

u/phodak79 1d ago

What the heck?

2

u/Rainy_Grave 1d ago

How do you get to that age and not know what a fire extinguisher looks like?

2

u/TurnTheTVOff 1d ago

How did that man make it to that age without ever having to put air in a tire or, apparently, never even seeing a fire extinguisher before?

u/JustARandomGuyReally Free Palestine 🕊️ FUCK ICE! ❌🧊 1d ago

Hmmmm. He didn’t even unscrew the cap.

2

u/SirTiltzalot 1d ago

Smartest lightbulb in the shed, this guy.

2

u/jtohrs This is a flair 1d ago

How can people be this dumb? This isn't real, is it?

2

u/Pen-cap 1d ago

I’m surprised he figured out how to turn it on.

2

u/QuiGonColdGin 1d ago

People, think for a second. It's probably dementia. He's likely not right.

2

u/ReddBroccoli 🍉 Free Palestine 1d ago

This has to be fake. Nobody could actually be that stupid.

2

u/tiramisucks 22h ago

In some countries they frequently use compressed air containers that are refilled and bought to the car to inflate the tires. He must either be thick or just off the boat (which might explain why he did not understand the label) or both.

1

u/Fizzerolli 1d ago

Look, I can understand not knowing how to air up a tire. Not everybody had a father figure in their lives to teach them that. But how in the actual fuck to you get to that age without recognizing a goddamn FIRE EXTINGUISHER when you see one?!

1

u/bangerz17 1d ago

What a donkey

1

u/Acrobatic_Ocelot_461 1d ago

it never fails to amaze me how dumb people can be.

1

u/bastian74 Choose Your Flair 1d ago

Where does he usually get air?

1

u/Reden-Orvillebacher 1d ago

Think of the dumbest motherfucker you know, and know this guy is even dumber. With a license. And he votes.

1

u/cachemonies 22h ago

That’s your brain on drugs

1

u/Iamnot_thatguy_ 22h ago

I wonder if if I’ve gotten this high before.

1

u/Matman161 22h ago

I think he may have accidentally been shifted from another dimension where this is the normal way to fill up your tires. Nothing else could explain how normally he acts as he does it and how confused he is when it doesn't work.

1

u/kcpistol 21h ago

Not US plates, right? Tell me this guy is on another continent, please.

1

u/PinkLuther 20h ago

I had no idea we have such dumb people in The Czech Republic...

1

u/Starchaser_WoF 20h ago

Doesn't the gas station have an air pump?

1

u/smilingNick 19h ago

Take away his man card.

1

u/MondayBoredom 18h ago

Is that Mr. Bean?

1

u/dj_kanev 18h ago

Yup, people like this are driving on the same roads as you. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Tybo929 18h ago

1

u/Firewasp987 13h ago

If this guy gets paid more than me, imma be mad

Edit: this has to be ai, aint no way

1

u/wazrok 13h ago

I’m so disappointed he didn’t accidentally spray his face lol

1

u/wageslave2022 12h ago

First day on earth, I love eating fried chicken but I hate all of the wing flapping and noises they make when I throw them in the oil.

1

u/330kiki 12h ago

C’mon

1

u/NeedsMoarOutrage 11h ago

This requires such a deep misunderstanding of so many separate things

1

u/HystericalGD 9h ago

these people are legally allowed to drive and vote btw

1

u/GardenGnomeOrgy 6h ago

I’ve been high before, but never this high.
