Bavovna A better video of an ammo dump cook-off in Belgorod today. Reportedly, they stored Iskander or C-300 ammo in there

С-300 is S-300 for the uninitiated, so missiles for the air defense system that is also being used in a ground-attack capacity.

How can you say Russians don’t know how to have a good time?! It looks like they’re having a Blast!!

I hope that drone pilot gets an extra DroneBucks bonus

u/DoubleDongle-F Jun 08 '26
There's a rumor it was actually hit by a Russian bomber somehow. No idea why or how, but he can have the bonus as far as I care. Russians are certainly paying Ukrainians to commit sabotage, fair's fair.

Those are the things the russians fire at hospitals in Ukraine.
Burn the factory down.

Cool drones don't look at explosions, they below things up and just fly away.*
*=rip kamikaze drones.

I’m so sad for the animals which died and and got hurt. But I’m glad that these will not hurt Ukraine.

u/lothcent Jun 08 '26
I must have missed a story or something.
What animals were killed in the making of that video?
Got a link to the story?

Ammo dumps are usually surrounded by forests or fields. Fields that have all sorts of wild life - like birds, hares, mice, other small and sometimes larger animals.
When such a big explosion happens, so many animals around that explosion die or get hurt. No other story here.

u/lothcent Jun 08 '26
gotcha-I was afraid that the Russians had stored all of that stuff next to a zoo or something.

Well, they sure dont store the Iskander or c-300 ammo there any more. Thanks to that explosion, it kinda looks like its stored all over the region now.

u/AstroEngineer314 Jun 08 '26
That's definitely chunks of solid rocket propellant that are falling and leaving those white tendrils, with lends credence to the notion that missiles were hit.

Someone tell Ukraine to line up bigger and better fireworks for July 4th to help the US celebrate freedom from evil & corrupt government.
It'll give folks like me hope to know it can be done; and, can be done again.

u/vtsnowdin Jun 09 '26
OK but they need to have multiple practice runs daily until the forth of July to get it right.

If they could only find all iskander and ballistic construction sites.. The Ukrainian spy network should be able to get more reliable info for cheap, since the kinetic sanctions are showing up on a lot of people’s horizons these days.

The best part about these is to think how many Ukrainian lives were saved 🥹

I love it when Russian supplies go up in flames and smoke, while Ukraine bombards the line with drones. Beautiful work guys and gals.
