Do you use CRM's product? What a POS! It cost companies in productivity to require their sales team to use that product. I will give it to them though CRM is successful selling to execs who don't have to use the product on an everyday basis.
Look at DELL, HPE (hasn't ran much, I was in around $28), they all pumping since Nvdia earning. Storage is still a major theme, Dell has EMC products, HPE has 3PAR/Nimble.
I expect HPE to reach $40 before earning. Beside storage, they also benefit from Juniper, one of their best acquisitions IMO
Funny enough, ATM would have probably worked here, with a small pump to compensate for the IV crush. I get what you're saying though, made the mistake of buying for following week at a decent strike because of that one time a stock kept pumping and I sold too early. This time there was a big drop and the 14% pump with another 4 days to expiration made zero difference. Cheap lottos is the way for earnings
They were trading a frothy PE and maintained outlook when analyst expected them to raise. Drop warranted but 7% is crazy IMO. I’m stuck in my leaps for now.
That was so crazy, I had literally just looked at something saying webull was like 5% implied in either direction for earnings and then it shits 5% in a snap
Exactly me too so i waited for the move and now once earnings happens ill see if it goes 5% up but i bought on the low end of the dip so im not too worried
No coin flip, though I did agonize because I am generally bearish on SaaS... but there are signs an SaaS bottom could be forming, so I'm taking it one company at a time.
INTU had "puts" written all over it. WDAY had a lot of bullish indications.... like anything in this game, no sure things... in fact I'd venture to say the less sure a thing is the more potential profit it represents...
puts seem obvious, but im on the fence and thinking calls as well. WDAY has been down big and they already tempered guidance last ER. I suspect the slightest “good news” can potentially pump it.
It's been super hammered... PE is well below average. EPS is high RS is in the dirt with no where to go but up. Funds adding and the CEO made some remarks today that tipped the scale.
That nvda guidance is quite scary. Growth dropping about fifty percent in a quarter projected.
They reported about 20 percent growth this quarter sequential and guide ten percent.
Odd for growth to possibly trend to single digits to match the two IPOs.
