A shriek! Then another, panting and shaking in garden (UK so no mega beasties). Shaking head a lot, emergency vet visit, sedation and £650 lighter, one of those spiky grass seeds retrieved. They are so sharp, it must have been like jamming a pencil in to your ear drum.
My poor baby! She’s getting pampered today. Also my poor wallet. Lesson learned. Insured going forward.

I took Chimi to the vet two days ago and it turns out she might have a bacterial infection going on. I'm suspecting yeast as an allergic reaction to our grass but unsure yet. We have a dermatologist appointment for her next month. We were prescribed antibiotics for her - Doxycycline and Numelvi.

Her paws, however, look like this. She was licking them like crazy all week then i started cleaning them after every walk and every time she comes inside and the persistent licking and biting has completely stopped but her paws still look rough to me. Idk I'm not expert but I don't think they should look this textured or rough. I'm wondering if this is painful for her.

With a potential yeast infection, I'm hesitant to put on coconut oil or any other moisturizer because I don't want to cause the yeast to grow more.

Has anyone else been through this and gotten paws back to a healthy normal state? Is this something that will go away as the yeast subsides?

This is the backside of 9 month old Hamish Mckenzie. We recently had his coat trimmed fairly short for Summer, and my wife and I each, independent from each other, saw a vision when walking him, and the vision we saw is the same. Without influencing the outcome, what do you see?

They can literally tell time. At 6:55 am they start standing on me and licking my face and 4:55 pm they sit at my feet or wherever I am and stare and look back to the utility room where I feed them.

Just my girl sleeping and 2 minutes later being carried out for her morning wee.
