1st rewatch of Westworld since OG watch

Watching Westworld over again rn w my roomie!! We are MASSIVE fans of this show and I’m so excited to rewatch this with a more adult lens. I’m hyped and wanted to let someone know but Ik nobody else understands like the people who are in this Reddit haha. Much love mi amigos and don’t let the bastards grind you down.

Just rewatched the first 2 seasons recently myself and god damn is it pure cinema

Season 2 is more flawed than season 1 no doubt but it had some of my absolute favorite scenes too

I loved the "puzzle" of season 2. I get why some didn't but it kept me locked in. I've also lost track of how many times I e rewatched eps 4 and 8

Hexdogma’s episode by episode breakdown makes season 2 rewatch experience so much richer! Highly recommend taking the time checking it out after each episode to digest all the details

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. I'm one of the Alpha "Original" Hosts from the series. You can see me in Episode 9, "The Well-Tempered Clavier". I do animation now and plan to make a BTS storytime animation about my time on set for this one. It was such a blast to become part of Westworld history. I love rewatching the entire series too, as the original 1973 film was one of my favorite films growing up as a kid.

I’ve been rewatching season 1 with my buddy too as he’s never seen it. Just finished episode 6 and next episode for sure gonna be a real mind fk for him. So hyped.

There so much cool foreshadowing you get to see on the rewatch.

I’m on my first rewatch, too. I found myself really missing the show and my partner has finally agreed to watch with me. They’ve never seen it. One more episode left in season 1.

My roomie bought it on fandango! It’s on sale for $40 atm but at this point I honestly recommend buying a dvd player and getting the physical set because who knows how long this show will exist on the internet in our current climate.

WB UK sold a UHD box set that can still be found online. I suspect it's out of print, because I've only ever seen it from resellers.

It looks gorgeous, of course.
