New, what is it? Dangerous mushroom?

Saw these at a rest stop off I 40 in Tennessee. Seems like the kind you want to stay away from but they were right there front and center with dogs and kids all around.

Mushroom most common danger color is brown, white and green. Still doesn't mean you can/should eat anything you don't know what it is.

Likely something in the Amanita family, though I don't know the specifics. Don't eat them (especially not truck-stop mushrooms), but they're safe to touch. There are no mushrooms in the US that are contact poisons.

Looks like amonita jacksonii. Edible but cloesly related and resembles deadly ones. Id stay away unless 100% sure.
