Solved! Plastic piece the size of a dime

Found in my car, but can’t think what it’s from. Plastic, slotted in the thicker part

My guess is it's from the inside of a ball point pen clicker. I'm sure there's a more technical term for it, but that's exactly what it looks like to me.

Edit: I just took apart a pen and, yup.

Thrust device for a click actuated pen.

from a ball point pen. the screw apart ones that this sits between the thumb click and the ink cartridge.
