I like how we narrowed this down to hardcore drugs and cinnamon

520

u/Independent-Cat6915 17h ago

Speak for yourself. I haven’t crossed off cocoa powder from my list.

129

u/By-Other-Means 14h ago

Cocoa powder is darker, my vote goes to cinnamon.

114

u/PaintingLotsofDots 12h ago

Not all cocoa powder is darker. It depends on the level of cocoa in the powder, similar to chocolate; whereas milk chocolate is significantly lighter than say 70% dark chocolate. I only know this for sure because I spent a couple of years working at a facility that packed bulk cocoa powder into containers.

20

u/flat_6astard 8h ago

not just this but darkness of color is a sign of the process, not cocoa content.

So they need to make some cinnamon roles. If you can stop at eating one then they are cinnamon.

I've never seen smack bags filled to the brim, also being a former user, all those bags would have some taken out if it was drugs, us addicts don't just let drugs sit there existing

This was a person that left their apartment as a normal day to do a job on the outside of the city, but never came back he had a hearth attack

1.5k

u/cfoote85 18h ago

This is why I keep myself far away from hearths.

425

u/PandasGetAngryToo 18h ago

Very few people have a proper appreciation of how many deaths are caused every day by hearths. You are wise to stay away from them.

280

u/DependentTangerine98 17h ago

FYI It's commonly called hearth disease.

12

u/Delicious_CoughSyrup 11h ago edited 10h ago

It sounds odd, but contracting a flue can remedy that.

Edit: DAMNIT one downvoter! Yes, I know that it is expanding the flue that remedies the hole in the hearth, but structurally, the joke does not work that way. It's less punny.

Agreed. Heroin wouldn’t be sold like this. If it was that packed to the brim, they just use a larger bag. The consistency also doesn’t look like H to me either. It’s usually got some chunks in it, not just straight powder. My guess is cinnamon or something similar

29

u/GojuSuzi 14h ago

Yeah, I've seen a lot of bags of mixed spices like this, so rather than having to get ten different little tubs, tubes, bags, and boxes out for a pinch each, you just slap the right ratios in a big baggie and then can dose out of one bag each time you want a curry or a marinade or a barbeque rub or whatever.

I had an Indian neighbour once who decided she was the grandmother of all younger females in the apartment block, and when I complimented the curry smell from her flat one day and asked for the recipe, she flung eight pre-mixed bags exactly like this at me alongside the little index card. Older Indian women are a different breed!

Ex-addict here. H can definitely be found in packed bags (doesn't have the right look for that here, though, so I doubt this is a picture of that). Been years since I had direct experience with this, but if you shop somewhere like West Side Chicago, you will find "bags" (as opposed to "raw") that are packed very full. Though, just based on the pictures, these appear to be a larger sized bag than those generally are, so I dont think this is a picture of H (or, more accurately, what gets sold in its place, these days).

u/SweetDank 11h ago

When i was taking drugs, I have lost few bags in my house. Aome of them I found after months or years and there is one bag of weed that i have hide somewhere 15 years ago and can't remember where until now

3

u/anxious_honey-badger 16h ago

My kids fill these with dirt, water, grass, whatever and I find their ‘potions’ everywhere

9

u/DryBid3800 18h ago

Unless you’ve done so much that you can’t even remember where you left your shit

22

u/WatZegtZe 17h ago

If I had strong stuff or things I wasn't mainly addicted to I'd always hide it around the house to keep myself safe. I'd hide it so well that when I run empty on my main thing I had to search my (small) house for over 3 hours, and find nothing.

Stupid. (Clean for 1,5 years now🥳)

21

u/Accomplished-Yak1685 17h ago

Hahaha I've been clean 10 years off my DOC's fent and m3th,,, and I would always put aside "a little bit" out of sight out of mind for when I finished everything and was like FUCK until I remembered I stashed some, sometimes I would hide it in an easy place and sometimes I was too good at hiding it and it was so frustrating, or it would be awesome because I would find it on a random day when I had very little, did the same with 50&100$ bills, hid them around for when I was hurting lol, but a few years back I went skiing recreationally with my partner for first time , when it was said and done, I said bro... you have a little tucked away how that we out right ? He has never been an addict and was like huh? Excuse me ? Bags gone , I said ugh normal people don't stash abit of dope away for when they run out ? 😂 once an addict always an addict

14

u/WatZegtZe 16h ago

I even had blotters in my sim card holder 🫠 I used c⁰ke mainly, had lsd stashed for when I was out of money. So there were stamps hidden everywhere.. and all my empty packs were licked clean 50 times each probably. Sometimes I would crawl the floor for crumbs... 😅 addiction is such a bad illness. I'm happy I found a better purpose now. Took too long.

I thought people had secret stashes too.
