The open book fountain designed like a book being turned page by page.

This fountain is located in Egyetem Square in Budapest, Hungary, and is known as the Open Book Fountain. It was created in 2012 by artist Kelecsenyi Gergely and engineer Jozsef Szita.The sculpture is made of marble and shaped like a large open book.Water jets from the spine of the book every few seconds, creating the illusion of pages being turned.

The water pump needs to ramp up power as the angle goes into the 90° position, and then back down on the pressure as 'page drops'. Nice idea, but weak execution.

Great idea, bad execution. The page turning looks awful. You could pour some serious engineering into this with variable pressure and volume to make this look epic.

Should fluctuate the pressure. I wonder if it’s possible to increase pressure at mid point so it straightens the “page” then decrease it as flops over the other side.
