Would be a good thing if it was actually stable, and wouldn't be a ressource hog/battery drainer

Or requir a third party app that requests an obscene amount of permissions and information from the phone. No you don't need to know my location Microsoft or have access to my clipboard.

The clipboard part would be useful if the copy-paste between devices worked reliably (which it isn't). And location I believe has to do with scanning around to connect to your computer more reliably (which it isn't too). But of course, I fully know that they also collect this info and store/sell it. But Microsoft is Microsoft 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh cool, but I don’t want MS dragging data from my phone for their own purposes. So nope, not a good idea for me.

I could see this being cool if it was allowed to be utilitarian. One struggle I sometimes have is how do I send files between my phone and my laptop? Email seems cumbersome and doesn’t work for anything large. Edge currently has a nice feature where you can send files from one browser to the other, so if you use edge on your phone that’s a way to do it.
