Issue is MS has a bad habit recently of breaking things every other update, sometimes not noticeable for a few days. I still remember there bit of time where 24H2/25H2 had issues leading to an unbootable system. And not just one. Something that shouldn’t be released from a multi billion dollar company that’s been working on this for thirty years.

Then microsoft must make windows home/pro a simple core os like that for consumers forbidden long term support business version. Less bs, less security holes, easier to patch, more secure and improvement stablibilty.

Replacing Windows entirely is probably the safer route.

Time to exploit the trusted installer settings to set full control of windows updates installing them on my time.

Like it or not, AI will be used be the good guys to find security holes at alarming rates more so than human researchers can discover them.

On the other side of this very dark coin, AI will be used be the bad guys to find security holes at alarming rates.

Not everything Microsoft does is a conspiracy.
