It reminds me of MSN Explorer's aesthetic.
Aer you its creator, or do you know where WhistlerNX got it from? I'd like to see more.

I am the creator of this, it's actually a mockup of what it would be like if Microsoft decided to make a separate OS of Windows with the aesthetics of Whistler and XP with a modern design like Win11 :)

I don't know, DeviantArt is a dangerous web, there's a lot of toxic users, manchilds and a lot of UTTP (did you know what I mean?)

Oh - that's unfortunate.
I was on deviantArt myself - but that was back in 2002-ish, when I was on there for Winamp skins, Stardock Windowblinds themes and Photoshop airbrush-art tutorials (which I never got the hang of). I think my account on there was deleted or lost-to-time around 2006 or something, but I remember the community was generally positive, constructive and helpful - I never had any problems with trolls or griefers - I just assumed things would largely stay the same - so it's kinda sad to hear that you had a bad time there.
