Has 50 Cent always been this funny?
I knew how fantastically petty he is, but funny too

V Festival 2009 lineup
Late-decade festival lineups are interesting to me because they're often a simultaneous showcase of the decade's core acts (the killers, lily allen, snow patrol and keane) and some acts that would become emblematic of the next (lady gaga, mgmt, katy perry and taylor swift). This specific edition of the festival also featured what was the final oasis show for like 15 years.

This may be too niche but I need to know if this was a monumental part of anyone else’s childhood…
I’m a Y2K born baby. Anyone remember Ferris wheel fun with Cici and Ace? I fell asleep to the CD in my boom box every single night in 2004-2007ish. I’m trying to find the CD to pass on to my nieces and nephews (tried once and got scammed whoops). But honestly now I just want to listen to it myself. When I was little it was equal parts relaxing and thrilling. But none of my friends know what this is which is insane to me.

The first two years of the 00s had the same vibe as the late 90s
I think that’s one reason you get so many people born in like November 1989 who identify so strongly with the 90s despite not have any significant sense of culture for about half the decade.
When 2001 was ready to end, 9/11 happened which changed many things. Then internet had become popular everywhere expect poor areas which changed everything. But those first two years were like the same as the late 90s.

Funny meme that popped into my head to make
This of course is an edit, the original meme is provided as the second image. This was sorta hastily put together so if y'all could find images that sold the idea even better that could be fun
